She doesn't whisper and bitch behind peoples' backs, she just asks questions outright.

For example, last night she was talking about Marcus to Noirin and the others, when he walked in - anybody else would have changed the subject or just shut up.

But Bea didn't, she just asked Marcus straight out what it was that made him so obsessed with Noirin.

Exactly the same with Ken in the garden the other day, instead of clamming up she just brings him into the conversation.

That's the opposite of snide, surely.

It takes a bit of getting used to admittedly, but I'd rather have people like her than all the behind backs bitching.

seeing as Marcus seems to be one of the most hated housemates outside the house, why is it so absurd that an intelligent female housemate doesnt buy into his manipulating bullsh1t

marcus is quite happy to control certain ellements in the house, by menacing stares, moods etc, he makes several people feel uncomfortable, to the point that people allow behaviour that wouldnt normally be tollerated.

Yes she tends to do that with people. It makes them feel horrible and it also embarrasses the people who she has been snidey with. I wouldn't trust her with any secrets. She seems entirely the opposite from the image she tries to give off, and although at first I quite liked her, I now think she is a nasty piece of work.
