If Karly goes back to NY with him their relationship will be over. There are ALOT of better looking and wealthier men in that city who will steal her right away. LOL, Nobody would try to start a serious relationship with her. There are business men and trust fund babies living off their parents money who would love to grab her for a night or 2. High end clubs(the ones Ken would go to) are nothing but meat markets over here. He probably doesnt let her out of his reach though and he most likely doesnt allow her to go to clubs in the Hamptons or Manhattan for that matter.
