Tom is VERY astute
 

He held his counsel, watched what was going on and then spoke. He will be proven right but he needs to watch Charlie a bit more till he works out his depths and complexity. Charlie is sometimes confused but his heart is in exactly the right place, he always means well, but being so intrinsically good he can sometimes be used. He was shunning Lisa, but felt guilty about her being deserted. He is a deep well of sympathy and empathy. He hates to see people suffer.

He has been influenced against Tom, but he'll come around.

Tom is 100% fundamentaly decent.
