WHY when we log onto this forumdo we always just look athe most 10 or so most recent topics? There are so much mor interesting topics on pages 2, 3 and 4.
 

I have always wondered why the most recent top 10 or fifteen topics are the most watched and most replied to. So many interesting topics go off the page and are hard to find later. And they are probably more interesting that the first 10 or 15 topics that you see (sometimes often repeated). I would like to see a fair balance where people who have started a topic but don't seem to have them read and are not commented on. I think that we should scroll down the page and even check the next page and even the next one in case we might have missed something we might have been interested in.

Good suggestion. Also think if people scrolled down we wouldn't see the same topics rehashed in thread after thread after thread! Does get tedious:dance2:

Always read down the pages too, just to see if anything catches my eye!

i find it hard to keep up
wish people would just put their point across on an existing thread

With the Invision board the topics shown first are the ones you haven't read since you last logged on. Not criticising, just saying.

Don't worry you make a very valid point. I just wish it was easier to read topics that people have had the patience to write about and to leave comments on their topics. It must be frustrating for them. I wish it was better organised because, tbh, I sometimes get fed up of this thread. I leave a comment on a topic and a few minutes later I want to see the response only to find that is has gone right down or gone on to the nex page or three. Grrrrr.

Each discussion board software has its own advantages and disadvantages. I like this XMB board for its ease of use but catching up with threads is quite time consuming.
