I never watched the show last night because Siavash makes me puke.

I did read that Marcus' Token thing in the diary room was shown - so was it enough to start a hatchet job on Marcus?

Marcus has served his purpose & BB want him out.

they must realise more will watch to see what he will do next.

After last night's HL then LF, I decided I'd prefer Murcus to stay over her.

Typical - Don't blame middle-aged Marcus for his own behaviour - that won't do - just create conspiracy theories instead!!!!

His behaviour is ridiculously immature and irresponsible, but so is Noirin's.

For me, it's about storylines and who provides the more entertaining storylines. I am sick to the back teeth of Noirin's. She's idiotic, self absorbed, vacuous but tied in with that - she is manipulative and scheming. Now, this isn't some Jilly Cooper novel as it's not to my taste. It's boring me.

We need new storylines. We keep Marcus in - let's see what happens to Siavash.

Fair enough about Noirin. But many sick of Marcus's form of 'entertainment'. Everything you said about Noirin is also true of Marcus - I for one am sick to the back teeth of him and all his egotistical, self-pitying nonsense. Don't want to see any more of that either. Works both ways.

Do not keep Marcus in - his childish antics extremely boring. If you like that sort of thing - tune in to CITV.

So keeping some housemates in who have storylines is coincidental?

Sree's arguments with Marcus were a storyline - he went.

Chris's 'romance' with Sophie was a storyline - he went.

Carly's boyfriend going in - would have been an interesting storyline - she went!

I see no evidence of anything which could be construed as foul play by the programme makers. As I said, I think the whole idea of "hatchet jobs" or "conspiracies" to keep a particular Housemate in or evict a particular Housemate is a Big Brother myth.

Marcus was getting it on with Noirin

They didn't show hardly anything of Kris and Sophie

The Noirin/Marcus storyline was still stronger - Who do they give airtime to? Also, Kenneth walked - so... that was a ratings booster as Marcus was still with Noirin.

he passed the test, he couldn't accept he was wrong on the frog/toad question that lisa had, he was in the lounge with the others saying it is a toad, i am 100% sure, i know it is a toad, and he was wrong but he wouldn't accept that he doesn't know everything and even argued with bb and said they were wrong. he then threw some items in the dr around and lost the token and reward he had won. i think he is a nasty person and if he doesn't get his own way turns nasty and could turn violent.

no marcus needs no help in ******ing up his own chances. Marcus looked like a fool when he went all "rock star" and seemed to think he'd been setup. lol

But the producers have said themselves they use storyboards and storylines to keep a show going.

In the past this has been seen with Nikki/Pete, Brian/Samanda, Rex, Sara/Darnell - a lot of instances where an individual has been kept in and a storyline has been encouraged.

Do you really think that a production company would leave all to chance and just show bits and bobs of events? The main site follows a chronology of stories related to individuals - even the main shows do, Davina's introductions also encourage and follow storylines too.

Last week's eviction was cancelled as we saw key players in the Producers storyline would have been evicted - now the producers have the Bea/Halfwit scenario and the Siavash/Noirin situation, they can switch to something else and Marcus leaving would boost this - or even Noirin leaving. Either way they have something to work on, something big if either goes. Basically, it's not detrimental but last week and in previous weeks it was.

You may have a point is some of what you say - but still believe that if Marcus goes - it is down to his own bad behaviour - leading to a loss of popularity - hence votes!!!

This could be a task. The housemates must hatchet Marcus limb by limb and place into bin bags. Could even supplement their basic rations.

Yes his behaviour hasn't been great and yes people could turn against him for that - I'd see this as timing and how the timing of broadcast for an event affects a housemates popularity at critical points.
