Take That I was on this forum for Prestelle(another obsession)lol and there was a Take That Apperciation Thread which 2 members mainly posted in. The Ultimate Tour was coming up and they were going to 3 dates, which at the time I thought was mental! But the members were nice and they made the concerts sound amazing. So I downloaded some songs and they taught me a few things. Soon Gary's book came out,I screamed at a billboard with him on it. I listened to the boys more. I remember getting a link to Patience and liking it first listen. My Christmas list now was full of Take That. Soon I was going into shops and screaming if Take That were on. I was listening to a Radio 2 show while talking to Lou(one of the members) and I realised I LOVED them.I also then admitted I kinda fancied Mark(he is still my fav today). Then I fell off the couch at the Audience With ad and I was beyond help  Beautiful World and the Ultimate Tour were played repeatly, then I got Beautiful World tickets. I have to say I was obsessed before that tour but once you go to one,it's like they pull you in. By the time The Circus era came around I was a fully fleded obsessive enecyclopedia filled of TT knowledge Thatter. And proud of it  The Circus Tour was the best time of my life and I miss it immensely. Bring on the next one! |
Haha, love this thread. :)
I don't like to call it an 'obsession' though. I'm not sure what I call it. Chris Jericho.. I first saw him when he debuted in WWF but I had heard his name about a year before, because he used to be in WCW, but I didn't know who he was til he came to WWF. I instantly liked him, because he was so funny, and cute :D I was only 7 at that time. He has always been my favourite and when he left WWE in 2005, i was like :bawling:.. He went on tour with his band, Fozzy, and even came to the UK, but I wasn't even allowed to go. :bawling: which made me VERY upset and I really don't like to go into it but I have NEVER missed an oppurtunity since, I always find ways to go see him at WWE shows now. I went to my first WWE show in 2006 because my mom bought them thinking I would see him there but he had left and she didn't really understand it :/ Anywayyyyyyyyyyyyy in 2007, he returned to WWE and I literally cried of happiness 'cause he looked better than ever! 2008 was the best, because I got to see him live at 4 shows, once in April, 3 times in November. I also got to meet him twice in one day which was by far the BEST day of my life. When I went to a show in April 09 expecting to see him, I was let down and devastated when he wasn't there. I even found the hotel, and I would've met him again if he had been on SD, not Raw. I broke down.. in front of other wrestlers but I didn't care... Yeah so, I am 'obsessed' (I can't think of a better word). I have paid thousands of pounds to see him live, traveled hundreds of miles and waited for hours&hours to see him. I have a fansite for him too [www.chris-jericho.com], he RT'ed me on twitter [WOOO<3], he visited my site, he noticed me at all 4 shows and came up to me at one to argue [he's a bad guy so he had to, but i always say it was just for me, because i had a birthday sign for him<3], stopped to read my sign.. i met him at a signing and i was chosen to do an interview about meeting him etc etc.. yep, i'mma crazy fan but sooo proud because he's amazing :] <3 |
i used to be obsessed with george sampson after he won bgt, for like 6 months.

Football, when i was like 4 or whatever i started watching Arsenal with my dad, and going to elm park (readings old stadium).
So other than stopping watching for almost 2 years, im back into it and have always loved it. Weightlifting, I had always wanted to be bigger, my brother then started when i was like 13 - 14, noticed how much he changed, then at like 15 i got my own weights bench in my room, started gym, moed to a bigger gym that my brother and his mate go to... And since i joined 2 years ago, i haven't gone more than 6 days without missing the gym. I was ill and thats the only reason ive missed those 6 days.. :cheer2: |
ah i don't have any :(

Madonna:
When I first heard ''Hung Up'' back in 2005 I liked her singing , It was only when I got Madonna's ''Hard Candy'' album I was obsessed with her music and starting buying her albums. Since then I have listened to much more of her songs and tours (I am looking forward to my first ever Madonna album as a mega fan now (Celebration)) and WILL see her next time she tours! |
Arsenal FC.
I first went to Highbury at the age of 5, and instantly fell in love with the Gunners. They were like no other team in their style of play, they were fast, clever and controlled. My mum got me a shirt for my birthday when I was 7 and I wore it so much that the sponsor came off, the badge was chewed, and there were numourous holes in it. I met Robert Pires when I was 14 at a match, and he gave me his autograph that I still have in a box to this very day. Other autographs in that box are Cesc Fabregas, Thierry Henry, Marc Overmars, Denis Bergkamp and Richard Wright. I had a framed Arsenal shirt with every signature from the 01-02 double cup winning team, but that is in Brazil now. I have been to Highbury 9 times and have been to the Emirates 4 times. Arsenal 'til I die! |

Rugby.
It's been part of my life since I was 5 y-o. My dad is a rugger, I am a rugger and most of the men in my russian family play rugby. I can't get enough of it, I love my team, they're like my second family. I grew up with them, I know their life, they know mine, we're best friends and that's it. Being a rugbyman is amazing, the atmosphere after each training session and match is great, we party all the time, even with our ennemies which is the big advantage of rugby: at the end of the day, we're friends and we don't bitch or try to get better than anyone else, something that puts me off football. I love playing and watching, it's tough, it's fast and it's fasctinating but also very hard sometimes: it's not that easy and people seem to forget the technical side. I've had the best memories ever thanks to this, I could never ever quit Rugby, it's my life and if one day I have to stop, I'll be very sad. |
Been obsessed with the American 1950's ever since I saw Grease as a kid.
Now I collect 50's style paraphernalia and fashion. |
