The \"Get Freddie the Puppet out\" Thread

A thread for those people who are tired of Freddie the puppet and want him out

HELLIWONTGO 02-08-2009 11:57 AM

This thread, I say this thread, is the best of the day!

WAYNEEBRUM 02-08-2009 11:58 AM

bigbrother10uk 02-08-2009 12:08 PM

i used to love freddie, now i just find him creepy and boring.

Showstopper 02-08-2009 12:11 PM

he really is letting himself down. He's bloody whipped by Bea

loomy 02-08-2009 12:46 PM

I've wanted him out from the start. Since Bea has come in he's just gone against everything he supposedly believed in. Anyone would be a better winner than him - even Bea; at least she's the mastermind

Beastie 02-08-2009 12:47 PM

FREDDIE IS ACE

Beastie 02-08-2009 12:47 PM

Because you don't agree? I hope Freddie doesn't become a politician. He doesn't have the courage of his convictions or much empathy with other people.

agree 100% - Freddie fans need to wake up

Caramel77 02-08-2009 01:00 PM

I still like him. He just seems to be remarkably naive where Bea's concerned and he's losing his edge :bored:

I totally respect the fact that you guys are entitled to your opinion etc and I could understand if your not a fan of Freddie, I would usually ignore a 'get freddie out' thread. I just feel that this thread implies that just because he is Bea's friend he should be evicted. Which IMO is ridiculous.

He's not a puppet, he put be in place over the Marcus thing. He said something when she lied to Noirin about the Diary room protest and Im sure there has been other times. Bea is his close friend and like any of us if one of our close friends was upset about something you would want to help. He's not a puppet, It's just OTT now all the Bea haters taking it out on one of the only decent human beings in there.

InOne 02-08-2009 01:11 PM

I could respect Freddie more in this situation if he was a working class hero. But he is just a toff who lives of Ma and Pa. Toffs stick together, hence why him and Bea have a go at working class, David.

How about when "toff" Freddie defended working class Marcus when "toff" Bea had a go?!

Don't turn this in to a class war.

This thread does not imply that because Bea is Freddies friend he should be evicted (I know, I started it). It implies that Freddie is acting differently since becoming friends with Bea, and that he is blind to her game plan and is being drawn into it. He is coming accross as weak and somewhat naive and these are not positive traits. Put simply I want him out because i believe him to be a sheep, something he profess's to be totally against

Mentioning the odd thing to Bea is not putting her in her place either, and if he did try to put her in her place she would ignore him, a fact he is oblivious too

Maia 02-08-2009 02:22 PM

I'm in, I've had enough of Freddie. I didn't like him from the beginning.

muchadoaboutnothing 02-08-2009 04:08 PM

I really really really really really did like Freddie before Bea went in but now he is starting to grate on me. I would be very happy to see him leave the house.

xmynxiex 02-08-2009 04:39 PM

Freddie is loyal to his friends, atm he see bea as a friend, friends stick up for friends in my world. He has told bea on a few occasions about her behaviour. Example Over marcus and over lieing to Noirin. Everybody has a bitch about everyone in that house, thats all part and parcel of the big brother experience. We all like diffrent things and see things diffrently. Fred has done nothing more wrong than what any other hm has. Goodluck to all the bandwagon hopping and goodluck to this dislikers group. Freddie to win!!

Freddie percieves her to be a good friend because naturally he is always looking for for the best in people. If Bea takes advantage of that then it is her her own agenda, blame her.

The reason your thread implies this is because all people have seen is them as friends having discusions. Apart from coming to her aid today after seeing a friend upset, he has not actually done anything that would imply she was playing him like a puppet. He doesn't normally ague anymore and when she bitches he usually has little input appart from nodding ocassionally.

This puppet speak is just unfounded and also puts the blame on the wrong person who has actually not been malicious to anyone at all.
