With a pack of 20 around £6.00 and she probably smokes at least 40 a day...more like 75%.

I do not know if she has a council flat for free or what but if she has no rent etc to pay then I would say 90% if not I would say about 50%. I hate the fact that she is not bothered about getting a job. Stop her benefits!!

Don't waste more of your hard earned money on trying to save her. She's got to go!

Considering that a packet of cigs.is over £5 and a packet of rolling tobbaco is about £12 for 50grams then there are the papers and the tips with the amount she smokes she must spend nearly all of her benefit on them. I`m guessing about 50-60%

She will buy cheapo duty free tobbacco from Dodgy Derek down the Dog and Duck!

There's a thriving black market trade for duty-free rolling tobacco. I fully expect Lisa to know someone called 'Dave' who'll do her a week's supply for less than £20. It's still a very significant portion of the allowance you're given to live on.

what is it she smokes? when i watch it I feel really sick - her fingers, teeth, breath, yuk!!

On another note, we have never ever seen Lisa drinks of party have we? Does she drink?

And well aye, I would never ever date a smoker........cos kissing anyone that smokes is stomach churning, people that have a coffee, then smoke a ciggie....................no no no thank you!

What annoys me is that smokers on benefits get free treatment (patches etc) to give up! If they can afford to smoke in the first place they can afford to bloody give up - and I know it saves taxpayers money in the long run blah blah blah but it's still annoying!
BTW, I am currently in the process of giving up (9 weeks fag free! :hello:) and getting patches on prescription - which I pay for. Still a lot cheaper than smoking and the price of a prescription is not much to ask for...

My grandmother smells and while I love her to bits, when you visit you come out reeking!!

Also, I occasionally stay with her and last week, woke up, nice shower and all smelly products, dried hair and left it down, nice clean clothes, trots off to work and all bliddy day I could smell stake smoke on my hair and my clothes and I had only been in an hour after showering!! She had not even woken up or had a fag as yet as she was still in bed - this was lingering smell in house - sorry granny - love you hon but sheeeeeeeesh it stinks
