your totally right the_long_run.it was mercury,from the felt making process.i saw a programme with that funny brummie bloke from the fast show.on there they said it was from the urine,contaminated with mercury.pissing on the felt was part of the process or something.the wee was contaminated due to people taking mercury for syphillis(i think).then when they put their hands in the mix,it got into their systems and sent them all ****ing loopy.

if i was you i would lay off using mercury to make them hats
