He is an idiot for starters and he has enough money to inherit already, he has 70 rooms in his house ffs.

It's prize money. It's not means tested. He's as entitled to it as anyone if he wins.

Well if he was lying I dislike him even more. That would mean that he is bragging that dole money is nothing to him.

Go and look at all the other threads about this and you'll see he claimed it for a fortnight when he was 18 or something.

He is not on the dole he said he once was on it for a couple of weeks and it does not matter if his parents are millionares or not, just because they are wealthy does not mean Freddie automatically gets an easy life, he was looking for a job at the time so he was entitled to claim benifits just like anyone else.

Well, if my bf, who lives at home and whose parents together earn plus 35k a year (not eligible on household income grounds) is not entitled, I struggle to see how Freddie could be.

Well in my opinion that comment of his was discusting. I can't even believe he has the cheek to take that money which is suposed to be used to live with. Even if he does have no money himself I highly doubt that his parents are going to leave him to starve / be cold / take the roof from over his head.
