Is Lisa still entitled to claim benefits while in the house and if so why? Will she be entitled to claim as soon as she leave or will she have to find allternative means of supporting herself?

Here's hoping they stop all of them and she gets evicted from her home aswell.:xyxwave:

these are questions that noone in here can answer

:conf2:

Thats a bit harsh wanting her evicted from her home. Also i dont think she would be able to claim any benefits as shes not available to work and that is part of the benefits system. You have to advise them of any change of circumstances

supergirthuk 07-08-2009 04:21 PM

I'm hoping there may be a BB fan who is a social security buff that can start the ball rolling and get the grabbing cow off benefits, out her house and in the gutter where she belongs

supergirthuk 07-08-2009 04:24 PM

Thats only jobseekers allowance isnt it? She will be claiming every benefit going entitled or not so that she doesnt have to do a days work.

What has she done to you! Murdered a family member or something!!

What a nasty thing to say!!!!

Not a fan of Lisa's - but some just go too far!!!!!!

What concern is it of yours anyway!!!

If she's on jobseekers then she will have had her money stopped whilst in the house, because she isn't actively seeking work while she's in there and they are very strict on that now.

I'd imagine she would be able to go straight back onto it when she leaves though, being part of something like BB counts as unusual circumstances so I'm sure she will have told them and sorted it out before she went in. Unless she won the 100k, then she wouldn't be entitled to any benefit because most take any savings into account.

Why would you want her thrown out of her house? She's only been signing on for 4months after being made redunadant from her last job, as have a lot of people in the country right now.

Am sick of all this **** about her being money grabbing dole scum now, it simply isn't true.

Do the housemates receive a stipend for the time they spend in the house ? It's not well known, but some USA reality shows pay the contestants a small fee while they are in the BB USA house and on Survivor as well.

I'm sure I've heard the HM's talking about getting a small allowance each week that they are in the house?

It gets paid straight into their bank account from what I can remember?

dbfs 07-08-2009 07:36 PM
