was just on another bb site and they seem to be convinced endemol have sumthin for maxwell and r gonna keep him in no matter what, some ppl just cant get over the fact that hes as popular as som of the other housemates :nono:

yeah people cant take the fact hes more entertaining than the rest.

on the website sum1 said there has been 5000 and 10000 been put on science to go :conf:

A lot of people on this site have said the same about Channel4 editing of Maxwell. If there's a lot on another thread saying the same, is the logical conclusion not that it may be true then?

IMO, it's quite clear that BB want Max and Makosi in final 4, to ensure plenty of votes for the final week. They've seen the divisions they cause and the biased and blinkered arguing on the websites, phone-ins etc, etc and if they can keep these two controversial characters in then they can cash in on them big time when it comes to voting.

Shall I explain whats going on here? Well I will! What's happening is people that don't like certain housemates start a thread slagging them off so the people that do like housemates start another thread about how much they like them and so it begins and goes around and round in circles.

Thats a nice rational explanation but I prefer my conspiracy idea. Conspiracies are always a bit juicier!!

I'd agree with that! Mak and Max are two strong popular housemates so will surely bring in a fair lot of money in a final.

What, you mean Big Brother is editing the highlights to put Maxwell in a positive light?! I can't see the appeal, personally. He's the in-yer-face type invading your body space. He is also lazy, aggressive, looks like a caveman and he gives English people a bad name.

But yes, he can be amusing sometimes and he does wind up the other housemates, so on that basis he deserves to beat Science who doesnt talk, he just raps all the time. A novel idea that wore off after day 1.

Maxwell to stay in, science out!

I'm still convinced that BB edit to show certain housemates in a good light, Maxwell being their main favourite.

Last nights show confirmed my suspicions even further. Why did we not get to see Maxwell taunting Eugene before the nominations were being announced about what it's going to be like to be up for nominations and what would he miss from the house, etc, etc. Instead, we only hear Orlaith relating it back to the girls. That way we only see the girls talking about it, which just then appears to the viewing public to be more bitching from this lot. It would have much more impact if we had seen Maxwell's nasty, smug little face winding up Eugene. But oh no, BB don't show that cos they want Maxwell to be saved.

And this has happened before, where we only hear what someone has done rather than being shown it. Obviously lessens the impact of the act. Happened with Science taking the wine. Team Saskia (as it then was) objected cos there was some agreement reached that they could have the wine. Why didn't we get to see this alleged agreement? I suspect cos the agreement wasn't quite what Team Saski made it to be and by not showing what really happened, it makes Science look like the unreasonable one, who stole the wine. This kind of crap from BB annoys me. They don't show us all the stuff that goes on, and I would agree with whoever said in another thread that there should be an extended highlights show, possibly giving a more balanced view of the house, but it's unlikely to happen as BB like to manipulate us just as much as they manipulate the housemates.

The final shot in last nights show, of Maxwell bathed in light in the shower, while Science stands in the darkness, glowering and looking like some kind of evil demon was clearly choosen by BB to leave the viewers with that subconcious image of Maxwell = good, Science = bad. And then the numbers for eviction are shown.

Maybe I'm being too paranoid and reading too much into these things, but at times it annoys me to feel like I'm being manipulated by the increasingly omnipresent Big Bro.

Yep I am not a huge Maxwell fan but every year people come up wih scams and what not because of sour grapes.

To be honest it's quite frankly pathetic and gets very tedious hearing it year after year.Nadia won because of favouritism and I know a lot of people here who like Max didn;t like Nadia last year.But they still accused BB of fixing the show....but this year I could go on complaining about the same thing but what's the point?:rolleyes:

Last year you endlesslty went on about how the show was fixed in favour of Nadz,now a claim comes against Maxwell and "God no,that coulnd't be happeneing" because it's Max...your favourite.

Yeah I don't think that there is a scale to measure how entertaining a housemate is Kore so it all lies on opinion and whoever wins is the most entertaing housemate to the majority of people.

There is editing towards favs and also they make sarcy comments on the official website towards certain housemates.
