American POV ...
I don't understand why Freddie has been so hated recently by so many people on here. Obviously I'm not speaking for all of America, I'm sure that less than 1% of Americans actually watch bbuk, but I really feel like he is the most genuine supporter of all things not evil. He has a good heart, as opposed to Lisa who seems like a backstabbing little bitch that would instantly talk **** the second you walk out of the room. Oh, and that smoking makes her accent sound worse than anything in the world. Ugly, useless slug. The only reason she is still in the house is due to the rather large amount of 40+ year old lesbians that watch the show. Not fair, not fair at all...
In comparison, your version of BB is soooooo much better then ours. I really wish the American producers would learn from you guys. Go Freddie! |
I have disliked him since day one, everything me does makes my skin crawl.
|
he used to be nice and likeable ,,, going downhill fast

Likeable? Never. |
I don't know why so much Americans say BBUK is better because it's obviously not.
Halfwit is hated because he has gotten a very big head. Get him out. |
You`d be surprised at how many Americans watch BB UK than the British that care for or watch BB USA lol

It obviously is, and so much more people perfer BB UK than BB USA. BB USA is so boring and scripted. BB UK Is still entertaining, I went to America last year and everyone didnt even know what Big Brother was. Where as in the UK everyone knows about BB even if they dont watch it |

There is nothing wrong with Freddie, but History notes that we brits have a big thing about losers, we make em hero's.
All the while Freddie was getting battered by other housemates he was loved and supported. Freddie as now had the balls to stand up for himself and argue back=winner. Brits don't do winning well, we aren't used to it. |

He is the biggest supporter of Bea in the house, she can do no wrong in his eyes. He is acting as her enforcer, picking on the people she decides are not worthy of the royal presence of Queen Bea and King Fuddie Quote:
Judging by the result of the public vote it could have been a tactical decision to keep her in, in order to show Freddie he isnt Mr Infallible or as popular as he thinks. It could also have been a lot of people decided to keep her in to watch the friction between her and Freddie/Marcus/Bea etc. How many 40+ lesbians do you know watch the show? |
I'm judging by the diverseness of people that were cast. It seems like everyone in the UK is bisexual based on casting, so, I think there are quite a few 40+ lesbians over there... But I honestly don't know **** about it! :)

I am from the US and must say that I am really enjoying this season of BB UK 10. I have not been this interested in a Big Brother this much since BB 6 US with Janelle, Howie, Kaysar, and James.
I don’t understand the big deal about admitting you have a game plan. After all it’s a game with a big money prize. I identified Lisa’s game plan early on, before Fred even brought it up. She clearly picks housemates to be on her side and then tries to isolate them from the other housemates. She then influences their vote by talking bad about the people she wants to get out of the house. I want the alliance of Halfwit, Marcus, Siavash, and Bea to go all the way. I got out of my chair and cheered when Fred stood up to Lisa. It was about time somebody did. From my point of view, Halfwit, Marcus, Siavash, and Bea are in the good alliance. Lisa and David are the enemy. Charlie, Rodrigo, and Dogface are Lisa’s puppets who she controls and they don’t even seem to realize it. |
Ah ok then so in effect we only vote for the person who is the same age sex and sexual preference, so everyone who voted for marcus are 30 something males who live at home with their mums and pets cats and collect action figures?

He's annoying beyond belief. He also started throwing around about how much money he has, and that if he was to be thrown out, that would be the reason: Jealousy. Give me a break. He runs up his own.

As far as I can tell Rodirgo is his own man. Unlike Marcus, Siavash and Halfwit, who are always saying that they are the only "individuals " in the house. |
As stated in other posts on the forum, Bisexual is the new black, its the in thing to be, gay was good but bi is better its so much more hip and fashionable.
I dont think everyone or even nearly everyone in the uk is Bi. There may be a reasonable percentage of the uk who actually are, as opposed to I will label myself this because during adolescance me and my best friend had a quick fumble/tumble to see what sex is all about, oh by the way we are both boys/girls but i do love the opposite sex as well. |
I'm from the US and in general I think BBUK is better than BBUS...but not this year. This is one of the best series of BBUS in recent memory while IMO this BB is shaping up to be worse than BB8 (how is this possible, you ask. Well, it's just my opinion.)
I'm also annoyed that the ONE WEEK I managed to persuade one of my friends in the UK (who detests BB) to cast a vote to evict, the eviction gets CANCELLED. (I convinced her to call and vote to evict Kenneth the week he was up before he walked.) Anyway, I think that the scripted-ness of BBUS works for it in some cases and against it in others. Ultimately it comes down to the housemates (or houseguests, as they're called here). I think the mix BBUS has this year is more entertaining and interesting than the group BBUK has. Again, just my personal opinion, and this coming from a person who thinks BBUK series 5-7 are as good as it gets for BB, in any country in the world. That said, my opinion of this year's HMs in the UK in a nutshell are this: Siavash is meh, Dogface is mildly entertaining but utterly vacuous, Rodrigo is an annoying old woman, Marcus is a legend, Lisa is a slag, Halfwit is boring, Bea is an arrogant and condescending moron, and whoever I didn't mention (David and Charlie, I believe) are totally expendable. IMO the only reason to watch BB this year was the Noirin-Sree-Marcus love triangle, but that's long gone. I switched off for several days during the height of the "bully" thing with Lisa, Kris, and Karly vs. Halfwit, and I knew the show would go downhill when Cairon left so early. Wow. Long-winded post. Sorry about that. |

I've only watched one series of BBUS and I loved it! I prefer BBUK's realism and honesty when it comes to day to day events as they happen, but I prefered BBUS whole game playing approach. Having a game plan in BBUK is seen as a bad thing (despite it being a game show) as the public have the final say, of course BBUS don't have to deal with this. A mixture of the two would make for great TV.

Bounder will be wearing one of those baseball cappy things and saying "high five" next. What is the world coming to. Fisher senior should have got a grip of that rapscallion years ago. He will get blackballed this year if he isnt careful. Be shouting Boo to the queen next dont you know. |
