Was Siavash punished enough?

Siavash refusing to "play the game" resulted in Hira being evicted. Watching live feed last night, the guilt that I thought I would feel from Siavash just wasn't there. He, in no way, sees himself responsible for Hira's departure.

I know it was the public who didn't vote enough for Hira but her place in the line-up was simply because Siavash wouldn't play by the rules.

Shouldn't he feel guilty?

Vicky. 08-08-2009 07:30 AM

No...since he didnt feel guilty about them all being up in the first place, he said this is how it should be, the public decide.

Which is true really...

BigDuncsBestMate 08-08-2009 07:33 AM

It should of been simple for BB, when he went into the diary room to nomiante,

Siavash: I dont want to play this game anymore and wont nominate.

BB: Siavash the door to your right is open, ****** OFF AND GET OUT OF THE HOUSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Situation sorted !

Simple

That is correct. That should of happened i think, even though I like siavash.

sarahBE 08-08-2009 07:39 AM

They should all be up every week anyway,

alijoe69 08-08-2009 07:41 AM

Seeing as BB made the vote null & void because of marcus and siavash breaking the rules - it should have been the pair of them that aced the public vote - so no siavash was not punished enough - and I am getting really fed up with his "poor me" act!!!:colour:

Yea, the nomination process only generally means we have the two or three best characters up every week...and we get left with boring ones in the last few weeks.

So in essence, you want to be rid of everything that makes Big Brother so entertaining? It would be a shambolic programme if they implemented this change.

Instead of a dynamic house, with continuing power struggles and controversy, you two want a cesspool of mediocrity and back patting. It would be the dullest show on the tv.

BB22 08-08-2009 08:12 AM

He did feel guilty, to a certain extent. He was outmaneuvered by Big Brother. He won't try to dodge nominating this coming week.

Not necessarily.

Better idea maybe would be still have nominations, but have vote to save every week, rather than vote to evict. That way the boring ones would be picked off quickly, whilst the 'power struggle' continues.

Nah, I don't think it would be wise to play about with the basic formula with regard to nominations. It's what gives the show its addictive quality - maddening sometimes; wonderful at others. It's the game baby.... can't be fair all the time.

It's like a knockout tournament in Football. You'll always get two good teams meeting in 4th round or quaters, but usually the best will always prevail. Except for Italy in 2006- most undeserved World Cup victory ever. Anyway.

The best football teams get through to the next round.

The best housemate should get through to the next week.

So vote to save would be more appropriate

JAJ1942 08-08-2009 08:22 AM

No he did not feel guilty, he is so far up himself that it is unbelievable. I really liked him but since the Noireen episode and all the pathos from him after I really no longer like him.

Nocturne 08-08-2009 08:24 AM

BB went easy on Siavash.

They know that the woman-formerly-known-as-Siavash's-girlfriend is going to take care of the REAL punishment...

I am sure she already bought a nice, wooden rolling pin for that purpose.

You can tinker with it on occassion, but I think it would be unwise to go all out on the vote to save business. I honestly think it would get dull.

Anyway, I was slagging you over not having nominations.... you're driving us off on a tangent lol.

jimdan 08-08-2009 08:54 AM

Exactly!. Back to the point.

I don't mind Siavash normally even though he is prone to exaggeration (lying) and even that he cheated on his girlfriend. Breaking the rules of BB can even be excused from time to time to make a series interesting.

What bothers me is that he shows no remorse over the fact that an innocent got punished for his foolish rule breaking.

Claiming that Siavash was unaware of the pending punishment doesn't absolve him from the need to be sorry that his actions resulted in the hurtful eviction of an HM who thought she was hated by the public.

I worry about people who have no concience.

Ah, I'm just messing with you. It's harmless slagging anyway... don't be worrying.

BB22 08-08-2009 08:58 AM

I'm not sure there is anyone in that House who agonises over his decisions more than Siavash. That is precisely one of the things people complain about on other occasions.

Yep it'll be interesting to see how he behaves this week and if he shows any signs of sympathy for Hira. I wonder what he'll do with the next round of nominations?

I just think Big Brother have to step up and show some balls this time. If I were Marcus or Siavash now I'd realise that Big Brother want me to stay in and that would lead me to the conclusion that I have a fairly substantial fan base, right? ThinkI would have a fair idea anyway.

So yeah, Big Brother have to man up the next time it happens.

Ham 08-08-2009 09:53 AM

I cant believe this scumbag is the favourite with all the bookies today

Mind you sophies only just behind him as 2nd fave

28thapril 08-08-2009 09:56 AM

Nope it's just a game at the end of the day and it was obvious the quiet one would go!

Anyway the house don't blame him for putting them up they all blame Marcus:mad:

In the diary room bb told Siavash his h/m's would suffer and he didn't have the guts to fess up untill it was too late:mad:
