Look at the last big brother winners, racheal was first on most big brother polls and 2nd in the bookies, ulrika was 2nd to terry on most polls and 3rd on most bookies. Brain belo and pete were doing good on every big brother poll, and were 1st and 2nd in every bookie.

I've added up all the main support groups (4-5) and it's in excess of 40, 000.

The main two groups alone have 30, 000 fans, nearly 15, 000 apiece.

Sorry, but the forums are biased and attract nerdy type posters who go for nerdy types of HMs.

The general public and chavs, which as you said are millions, favour Sophie and Charlie.

They needn't care or support weird, nerdy, generally unpopular, over analytical HMs.

All the winners you mentioned are popular generally, not nerdy/weird/analytical eccentrics.

A few forums, biased toards nerdy/eccentric/loner type people who post away propoganda and verbatim. These create multiple accounts, votes in polls, etc and use multiple forums too.

The actuality is about 200 members online and mostly the same regulars. On DS, maybe double that.

He was 3rd last time I checked, behind Sophie and Siavash. Your example shows that anyone can win, polls mean jack. Especially when forums are nerdy and attract the weirder types. The public and chavs, of millions, needn't care or favour weird nerds like Halfwit, Marcus, Siavash. The former two got booed last Friday.

Charlie has in excess of 40, 000 fans on facebook and is chock-a-block packed with support.

To put it into perspective, Halfwit has about 1000, and it's stayed at that since the MAXIMUM of his popularity, if not declined even.

Explain then please how come Kris was destroyed on eviction night. He had plenty of fans on Facebook too.

The fact is we die hard fans who and vote on internet polls, and join FB pages and attend live evictions are a small fraction of those who vote. This explains why Rachel won last year and was booed somewhat for her fence sitting yet won. The silent majority for some reason loved her. The masses are a simple-minded lot! :whistle:

Every big brother winner was popular on big brother polls. Its impossible for someone who is not very popular on big brother polls to win big brother.

LOL! Two nerdy forum polls (TiBB and DS), mostly rigged (I've even rigged it at times, and still do occassionally) mean utter jack.

A few hundred nerds who obviously favour that type of HM and spam away, mean nothing compared to the general voting public and chav vote.

There's only a few hundred in total, it's mostly multiple votes and accounts. I vote loads in these polls, so do others, it's just BS.

BTW, I noticed you didn't address the issue of Charlie's 40, 000 facebook fans, vs Halfwit's sub-1000. There's only a few hundred regular, legit people posting and using TiBB and DS. 200-300 online here and that's mostly the same crop. Means jack!

But I will address your point: Also notice that in the year's Brian, Rachel, Pete etc won; there were few (likeable) nerds on BB. Hence these do better on forums, and outside.

This year, nerdy forum spammers have actual nerds to favour.

I for one will not be looking at bookies odds again until after Friday and we see who goes then. If Freddie goes there will be a lot of potential voters whose votes will go elsewher and it won't be to Marcus. My guess is most likely to Siavash so it will be a major market mover.

I still tend to agree with LisaFan that Sophie and Charlie are well up there with chances. I am not ashamed to say that at the moment my vote would go to Charlie. Mind you, the ONLY time I have ever voted was for Hira last week, with the hope that we would get Bea out. That didn't work I doubt I shall be voting for ANYONE come the day.

I am not a firm supporter of anyone but I DO like Charlie and Siavash. Strange as they don't seem to like each other much. I put that down to misuderstanding though.

The problem is Charlie is only popular with the BB housemates, Each one that has come out since eviction has said Charlie to win.

For me he has a chance of winning, but i realisticly don't think he will!. How has he contributed to the show? this is i thought what we should be looking at when deciding for a winner.
