And Bea wants to be a psychologist??

I'm not sure how responsible it would be to let Bea become a psychologist given her bullying nature, and tonight how she treated someone having a panic attack. What if one of her clients had a panic attack in front of her? Would she mimic them too? She could potentially in the future have a lot of control over some of the most vulnerable people in society, and frankly that's a little bit scary.

I hope when she gets out she's able to take a good long hard look at herself and gain a bit of an insight into herself, and hopefully change, though I think maybe that might be a bit too much to ask for.

Sorry for yet another Bea thread...:joker:

Vicky. 12-08-2009 10:19 AM

She would make a very scary psychologist

I wouldnt go to her for help...

InOne 12-08-2009 10:20 AM

She would do very well getting there being a Sociopath.

karezza 12-08-2009 10:21 AM

Hannibal Lector was a psychiatrist.

Niamh. 12-08-2009 10:22 AM

Now, we can see why she's been fired from all her past jobs!! How many clients do you think she'd get after all the "compassion" she's shown on BB!!!

BitterFruit 12-08-2009 10:22 AM

she shows no real empathy, Freddie may have annoyed her but it was quite obvious he was reaching out for some sort of understanding to be re-established ...considering they were supposed to be "friends"

she ignored this and shut-down all discussion in quite a catty manner

Some psychologist use patiens to get power and to put their own frustrations on them, of course I am not saying everyone is the same....

InOne 12-08-2009 10:34 AM

We would have another Harold Shipman.........

Is Bea the most unempathetic housemate ever? She makes my skin crawl.

stickydatepudding 12-08-2009 10:52 AM

Just about every bad thing she has been saying to or about Freddie is actually true for her, like, every sentence coming out of her mouth. I was sitting watching, telling her to look in the mirror. She's completely lacking in self-insight. Hardly someone who should be giving advice to others.

She is very cold & very scary.:conf2:

camaleon 12-08-2009 10:57 AM

She has the ability of detaching herself from any situation. Only seems to be involved when she shed cocrodile tears...

I've known quite a few psychologists in my life. Not as a patient! But in a professional capacity. Some of them were very even tempered, but some were pretty off. But they still were able to do their job effectively. When meeting with a patient, they can separate themselves. So while they might be a total nutter in their private life, they still were able to help others professionally.

Bea is an utter disgrace, the idea that she even gained a degree in psychology blows my mind. It scares me to think how many other out there are like her. I've met loads of girls like her, most people think they're really nice and genuine, but they are just b*tches really, and when you see through them, people say you are being nasty and unreasonable! David saw through her initially, but she's started to pull the wool over his eyes now, like the rest. I'm glad Freddie sees her for what she is now, and I think Marcus and Siavash are starting to realise too.

Bea needs psychological help. Scary if they let her loose on anyone!

Daffodil 12-08-2009 09:42 PM

She brags about being sacked from every job she has had. I don't see her ever becoming a psychologist.

Lol me either...I'd go in relatively normal & leave feeling like I'm a source of negativity who should be kept well away from people in order to prevent them catching what I have!

That would be really scary :laugh2:

Mind you, the students in the university where I work, who are training to be doctors - now they're scary - no commonsense whatsoever!

In my humble opinion she has shot herself in the foot with ever getting a job as a psychologist.
She just hasn't got a clue on how to treat people. The weaker and more distressed they get, the nastier she gets. Not a good start. She may have to be evicted without a crowd like Jade did the time she was on Celeb BB

ZQueen 12-08-2009 09:49 PM

IMO a prerequisite for becoming a psychologist is being a nut-job yourself...she'd be perfect
