Anyone popped Hannah Montana\'s cherry yet?

This weekend we drove up north of Toronto to visit Dr. Flea’s (which was a dirt mall as opposed to a flea market). We did get to have sno cones and cotton candy which made up for the lack of flea market goodness. We did pick up some cheap produce in the outdoor section – including these…

Yup. Hannah Montana branded cherries. I did some research and according to articles this sort of branding on produce is becoming more common as Disney tries to steer away from endorsing unhealthy foods. I see the sense in that, but somehow it just seems a little wrong to be using a tween girl to market a food that’s commonly associated with losing your virginity.

Its cross marketing. It appeals to all the tweenies who don't know hidden messages, it appeals to perverts who do. It happens all the time, its a bit like when ITV used to make Holly Willoughby dress up as school girl/french maid on the SMTV replacement and make her eat banana's or whatever

But still ... :laugh3:

It's awfully kind of Miley Cyrus to go out of her way to pick all these lovely cherries.
