Marcus is Pretending That He Wants To Go

so when he is evicted he can say "well i told you all to evict me anyway so im still captain cool as ****"

if he wanted to leave as much as he is making out then he would of just walked

King Gizzard 13-08-2009 11:22 PM

It's pretty obvious that he does actually want to go

Walklers are loosers. Marcus not a looser. He wants his moment of glory and I now actually hope he gets it.Sadly may be tomorrow

ILoveTRW 13-08-2009 11:25 PM

he is trying to save his face because he knows he is going 100%

Got it in one :thumbs::thumbs:

frigid_slag 13-08-2009 11:26 PM

I'm not sure really. I think he wouldn't mind going, but he probably thinks if he stays at least that means he's popular with the public. What gets me is the way Freddie is so convinced he is staying, it's too arrogant.

keithafc 13-08-2009 11:26 PM

He wants to go. Do you think he would of done all what he doing this week if he didn't want to go? **** No. He would of got more involved with Lisa etc and be nice to everyone but he wants to go home. Simple as.

He wants to be evicted. He is going down as a Big Brother legend.

bansheewails 13-08-2009 11:29 PM

No he just doesn't care if he stays or goes. He has said plenty of times that he has no chane of winning, cause of Charlie (yawn) and Freddie (yah!) being in the house. He believes one of those will win and has said it will probably be Charlie.

BB want him out because he doesn;t care any more and therefore is too hard to handle.

I love marcus

Do you actually watch this show at all???
If you did then you would hear marcus say he will never walk but wants to go the right way by eviction as he believes thats the only way to go.
Also your opinion of him lying about wanting to go is wrong, I think what highlighted his desire to go was early hours this morning just after bea had lost the argument with him, when freddie came to sit by marcus, marcus could easily have left freddie have a go at her and watch as freddie hung himself by looking a complete opportunist revelling in her so called upset.
But marcus told him to go to bed so he didnt get seen in a negative light, I think that spoke volumes of his desire that he really does want to go.
He isnt lying

I don't think he really minds either way - he is the sort of guy who would want to save face - but all in all I am enjoying his performance, and much as I would want both to stay, at the moment I feel I have seen most of what Freddie has to offer, and I'd like to watch more of Marcus's antics. I expect Marcus will be voted out though. Pity.

I think Marcus will get more "air time" if he leaves before the final, and I am sure he realises this. Once the final has happened, that is the end of Big Brother's Little Brother, and the final 6 or 7 get no coverage whatsoever unless they actually win. I am sure Marcus is acutely aware of this. Sree appeared on BBLB many times following his eviction, and on Big Brother's Big Mouth a couple of times. I really think this is a plan on the part of Marcus, who realises he will gain far more publicity by leaving before the end:mad:

Yeah, it's a double buff. If he goes then he says' I wanted to go, I can do more on the outside that in the BB house', he does want his week in the limelight and he knows this week is the last week that you get all the attention.

If he doesn't go, he can claim he wanted to go but was kept in by his fans, this will help boost his ego and self esteem and worry the others a tad.

I saw it in a different way. He understands why Bea will be unpopular and he knew he'd gain popularity in the argument. He didn't want Freddie, who has a legitimate beef with Bea, to get involved . I don't think Marcus would mind going but think he'd rather stay against Freddie.

Nietzche said "there are no facts only perspectives" Here we have supporting evidence for that observation. Two people both saw exactly the same event. One says it shows Marcus really DOES want to go, the other says it shows Marcus really DOES want to stay.

I believe that each obserever sincerely believes their interpretation. Marcus will never tell us what was his actual motivtion because he is inscrutable. That is how he works his magic on the HMs, his toys whilst he is separated from his collection.
