Why can\'t BB be more like the \"Friends\" series.
 

All of these arguments in the BB house throws up a really interesting question as regards people living together.

How come all of the people in Friends can live in close proximity together (the two flats are so close together that they treat it as one) , without all the bitching and backbiting, and yet the HMs in BB never seem to get along?

It would be a good study for some academic to do, to come up with the reasons for the two different situations.

Because:

1. Friends is a comedy series.
2. It would be dead boring.

BB is a closed environment with no escape. Friends is an open environment where the players can choose to be together or not and can get outside stimulation. It's not that deep a question surely? Oh and Friends is a scripted drama.

Why are these oranges not more like apples might be a more interesting study.

Because Friends is about a bunch of friends who have chosen to live together with each other and Monica and Ross are brother and sister.
On BB its real life, and its about strangers being trapped in a house together, there will never be a series where none of the HMs argue.

Because none of them are intelligent, funny, have a sense of humour or talented!

It takes talent to be truly funny without being vulgar, using bad language or hurting someone else for your own gain!

Yes, I've often watched Friends and thought it was like a documentary .. in fact, I could be watching real life.

It's a bit like Battlestar Galactica that way.
