My 7 year old niece got 15 words from S!

I got 42 from S and 22 from Q

How on God's earth did David and Charlie get 6 and 8 respectively?

What kind of education do they have. I will wager neither has ever read a book in their wasted lives.

Shame on both their parents.

In fairness to the others, S is probably the easiest letter to do.

but yes, these people, that spend all day flapping their gums, are stunned into silence by a simple word quiz!

and that is why Siavash should have got more than 19!

Before we start to get the 'I got 452 words with X' type thing ... put yourself in their shoes...In a small room being watched not only cameras and BB but also in the knowledge that there are 3,000,000 people watching you and that you have a one minute time limit with a ticking clock in the background. Also bear in mind, these people have literally an instant to get their head around the problem, all you people gloating have had much much longer.

There is also the matter of being under the presure of knowing you are on TV while doing it. They may not be the brightest people in the world , but knowing that people will be watching them will make them a bit nervous. And it was sprung on them as opposed to you sitting down all calm and collected.

If the BB housemates were intelligent, we'd have been aware of that for a while now.:tongue:

rubbish. I paused the show on the first one to try. They have been in the house for 3 months the "oh I am on telly, oh there are 2 mill watching" thing left them 2 months ago. they were relaxed and under no pressure other than individual competitiveness.

that does not wash with 6 and 8. In many respects it makes them focus and try harder.

Maybe you should go into BB house and put under the same pressures the sheer boredom of house life puts HM's are under. It would be interesting to see how well you would perform then!

the OP was not to boast how well I done (i have average intelligence) but to highlight how poorly 2 hm in particular done.

Ask any child to do this test and compare. To get 6 or 8 is just awful and I maintain that both Charlie and David have the brainpower of the average 10 year old child.

When somebody is at home relaxed and with no pressure, everything is very easy....
I don't think this comment is fair on the HM

and what pressure are they under in the one part of the house where they can relax and be themselves.?

This misconception that they are under the same pressure as the weakest link is amazing

MY honest opinion is Charlie and David are bored and lazy therefore just couldn't be bothered to try or worry about how dense they would look to the outside world. In fact I think most of the time the HM's forget the outside world are watch
