BBLB Today = Too nice to Bea

It made me pretty annoyed, when she came on she was given a really good reception, all cheers.
George, who seemed to really dislike her, was very pleasant to her.

I'm not saying they should have burned her at the stake but she seems to be getting away with things lightly, she's charmed everyone and it's really annoying.
BBLB audiences are so fickle though, when Kris was evicted he got quite a few boos but when he send a message Sophie and came back on BBLB he got massive cheers.

:yuk:

JTM45 23-08-2009 04:22 PM

Yeah, it was rather sickening.

It was so obvious that the audience had been told how to behave because far less horrid people than Bea have been boo'd on BBLB before.

She still thinks she was in the right with the way she behaved too.

VILE horrible mess of a girl.

thank the lord reason prevails

Staceee 23-08-2009 04:24 PM

 She hasn't killed anyone.

I think she has was probably upset by her exit and they were told to go easy on her

Tom4784 23-08-2009 04:24 PM

Some people won't be satisfied until she's crucified... It's time to get over her, she's gone. She's irrelevent (this coming from a Bea fan).

I'm not saying she should be "crucified"
Christ, I'm just saying that the way she behaved in the house is being supported whenever people cheer her when she walks into a studio and everyone says how she was brilliant.

santaa 23-08-2009 04:51 PM

She was awful in the house but has handled thngs well since she came out.Proving to be quite likeable. An example of what the BB house can make people do

I'm more inclined to say that the BB house brings out peoples true colours.
Anyone can act nice in the space of 30-40 minutes when on screen and in front of an audience, and remember Bea ia articulate and smart when it comes to social situations, but when you're in a house living with people day in day out your true personality shows because you can't pretend for that long.

Tom 23-08-2009 04:56 PM

I think she deserved it tbh, she got her harsh interviews on Friday

At the end of the day you need to remember these are real people who have gone in there to entertain us. They didn't have to do it and the house would be a damn sight boring without Bea over the past few weeks. Time to stop baying for blood methinks.

Touche You are right

Sabrewulf238 23-08-2009 05:05 PM

She's out, it's over now. I think people being rude to her now would be a bit pathetic. She lost the game already, now she's just a former contestant nothing more.

Just about everyone form every series come across well when they are on the spin off shows, it is much easier to behave like a nice human being for a few minutes at a time and often after being given advise from those watching them. I'm sure it is difficult living with the same group of attention seekers for weeks on end but I still believe that we see more of the real person in the house than on the spin off shows and interviews afterwards.

AhmedFan2004 23-08-2009 06:54 PM

She only agreed to do the BBLB shows as long as they were nice to her IMO, hence why the audience and presenter were told to be nice.

Money thing, that's all. She got the major reaity check last Friday.

88.24% against Dullard Dave and Pervy Marcus ... hahahaha! :joker:

Definitely, it's easy to be presentable, friendly and formal in interviews and spin-off shows. There's little room for other facets of one-self to come out. The BB house really brings out the best and worst in people. In Bea's case, there's little good to bring out!

Beastie 23-08-2009 06:58 PM

I am surprised BBLB cheered her. Well I suppose its the least she could have once out of the house. A warm interview with Davina and George because I bet now she gets a lot of stick in the real world. I bet she gets a lot of abuse when walking down the street which is not good.

Why do you feel the need to personally insult everyone you disagree with? Twice in this thread and many other times I have seen.

merv 23-08-2009 07:12 PM

Lets get real folks.
At the end of the day, BB Housemates are very much ordinary folk and have taken part in a show which we get entertaiment from.
Bea will be remembered always for the part she played, that will be punishment enough in the real world.
And most of the characters apart from the likes of Charlie, Rodrigo you can meet anywhere any time.
Just they are not in our face 24.7.and we don't boo them.

Beastie 23-08-2009 07:14 PM

Yeah housemates are often loved, liked or hated at the time they are on Big Brother. Bea will get some abuse but I think at the very most in a few years most people will forget about her.

Does Alex from bb9 still get abused? Such as hate mail?

AhmedFan2004 23-08-2009 07:23 PM

She wouldn't do the spin-off shows unless they were nice to her, she wouldn't come back after Friday's mega-grilling unless they were nice to her. Remember, she's very spoilt and stuck up, she wouldn't tolerate another bout of hating.

So they had no choice, to do the spin-off shows, they had to go easier on her.

Btw I loved Alex from last year. "Memba I told you!" ... ROFL. :joker:

J-Rock 23-08-2009 07:31 PM

She said a couple of things ('have to change my ways' or something) and made a few facial expressions that made me think the reaction she has had has had a big impact on her (imo). She mainly came across as humbled, with some defensivness in the form of 'I'm being honest' etc

She'll hear about the negative response she's had over the last few weeks, and the fact she got nearly 90% of the vote.

She's also been trying to be nice about Freddie (although let her guard down in that little game they played at the end, lol)

She's not THAT deluded and I think she realises her actions were unacceptable to most viewers. It will be tough for her to take as she WASN'T expecting it. A real 'reality' check (pun intended).

rsefitpro2009 23-08-2009 08:21 PM

Well i saw that interview today it was actually one of the very few times i watch BBLB.

I thought she came across okay, the fans cheering her in the BBLB studio is irrelevant, you just don't pay much attention to them as truth be told they don't really give a fair representation on what the British public are actualy thinking! ( 9 times out of 10 they are probably told to cheer or boo etc etc)

Should Bea have been treated any different? probably but I don't really know what else BBLB could have done? maybes ask tougher questions possibly? but bar slating her for every second of the interview their isnt alot more that could have been done.

I can't stand Bea but i will admit that she did give us something to talk about when she was in that house and a reason for us to slate a housemate!

robxxx 23-08-2009 11:31 PM

George might have got the sack if he hadn't gone easy on her, I bet you he has been warned about his treatment of other HMs

AhmedFan2004 23-08-2009 11:33 PM

Like I said, they had to go easy on her; else she wouldn't bother to do the spin-off shows.
