They are basement dwellers who want to see one of their kin basement dwellers win, so they make up a bunch of bullshit to make Marcus seem normal. Too bad all of us can take one look at his ugly tree frog face and realize he is just that.

I agree with you here but in fairness I think many are just in response to the fact those against him are starting so many.

Either way though it aint his fault.:bigsmile:

P.S. Does seem odd to me all this hero worship but hay why not? Pretty sure 99% of it is written tounge in cheek to annoy the haters.

Actually, I find the anti-Marcus hysteria on this forum quite funny, what with the mixture of inane psycho-babble, baseless speculation and outright falsehoods we so often see.

Every thing about him puts off him :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Not the fault of the enduring legend if he is supported up and down the land.

He's very popular is all.

I am a Marcus fan, I don't read comics and I don't start a new thread everyday. However- I do enjoy reading said threads because they tend to be well written with correct spelling and good grammar.

Obsessive?? Hardly they are just supporting their favourites unlike other fickle minded bb fans who change every second...

I find it very difficult to see Marcus as a living legend. :whistle:

errr...but isn't marcus the only one who can 'hack' it in the real world?...and so by extension that goes for his fans too.

after all -

He's not on the dole, he's not the property of some pretend 'international playboy', he's not been groomed by some creepy yank game show loser, he doesnt self harm(sree)cos no one likes him, he doesnt have delusions re becoming a big glamour model, he doesnt think the queen comes to a sh1t tv game show...

I could go on but i think even you get the picture...

Marcus can hack it in the real world. He's got a real job, friends, a loving mother...and a cat.

no no no...it's a select club. If you're not intelligent and clued up you're not wanted.

Takes insight, self-awareness, maturity and a certain level of sophistication to really appreciate the enduring legend.

Those who don't measure up to that criteria are easily spotted and not deemed worthy.
