if it was me i would have ended that freindship&now i can see why so many people are doubting anthony, they getting too close its scary get carig out before it becomes somthing else

lizzie_bb5 17-07-2005 07:50 PM

No i dont think so! Craig knows that they are just mates and ant isnt gay. And nothing at all willl happen between them! x

Mike 17-07-2005 08:25 PM

Nothing will happen, even when Anthony gives Craig a cuddle you can see he looks worried people might get the wrong idea, their just good mates.

lily. 17-07-2005 08:58 PM

Craig knows he has no chance of landing Anthony. He will deal with that in his own head. There is nothing to stop them from being good friends though despite Craig's crush.

science_to_win 17-07-2005 09:54 PM

I think even Anthony is getting worried. He's snapping at Craig more and more. However, I do like watching their relationship, it is enteratining and Craig is amusing

Siouxsie 17-07-2005 10:22 PM

Craig loves anthony but anthony is not gay so he has no chance craig and anthony

Red Moon 17-07-2005 10:25 PM

I agree with science_to_win.... Anthony is starting to bore of Craig's advances. But what can he do?

GlitterEyes 17-07-2005 11:05 PM

Good friends and nothing more, I dont know why people are making a big deal about their friendship. Makosi was straight and Vanessa was bi sexual and they were close but you dont see anyone doubting their sexuality so leave off anthony.

Craig's becoming so annoying now, he's so obceesed with Anthony as if he was his boyfriend or his son.

Too right BB fernzy... he is becoming anoying with his constant eye following and checking where Anthony is. I think the flower arranging on last nights highlights show was a perfect example. Anthony was passed out on the bed and and Craig was hell bent on waking him up.

Just leave the poor lad alone please!

The way he went on last night was pathetic. I will not allow anyone to bitch about my Anthony, he is like my family. If he cried at any time I would be devastated and proably cry myself. Get a grip Craig. He's done himself no favours at all and it was him that started on Science last night.

lily. 18-07-2005 10:30 AM

Craig seems to be obsessive, but you have to remember that it's an intense environment they are in. He only really has Anthony as a friend in there, and despite his "crush", he would be devastated if he didn't have at least one ally in the house.

They are amusing to watch though, because since Max left, Craig has really been feeling the pressure, and he is acting like some nagging wife, while Anthony rolls his eyes and walks away like the long suffering husband. The best one for me was when Anthony told him that he would make "a nightmare of a boyfriend". That had me in stitches!

I think he will be doing a Michelle soon and thinking about boiling bunnies - god help the poor bunnies lol.

Seriously though Craig behaves the way he does because he is very insecure about himself and can not think why people want to be his friend so when they do he hangs onto them for dear life.

Can you not honestly say that you feel sorry for him.

lily. 18-07-2005 10:40 AM

I actually really like Craig. At the beginning, I hated him. Mostly because of his audition tape, but also his alliance with Leslehhhh..

Now, I have warmed to him, and I was genuinely concerned for his mental health the week Max left. The guy seemed to be totally losing it. I figured him for walking that week.

A lot of people reckon Craig is sly and scheming and has some grand master game plan! I seriously don't. I agree with what you said about him being insecure. He comes across as cocky at times, but that is just a front. His biggest fault is his immaturity. He has never had to stand on his own two feet obviously. Maybe I'm just being maternal, but I like the guy, and I hope he makes it to the final 4 even though I doubt his chances of winning.

Sunny_01 18-07-2005 10:43 AM

Couldnt agree more with you - I would love to see the lad get to the final 4

Here is an extract of what was published in the guardian this year:

Of the nine remaining housemates last week, five were Asian or black, including Kemal, a gay, cross-dressing Muslim, and Makosi, an articulate black Zimbabwean. But the driving force behind the racial divide has been the activities of the remaining white contestants: Maxwell, an Essex wideboy, Saskia, a Footballers' Wives wannabe, and their allies, Craig and Anthony.

The tension had been simmering for several days, but erupted on Monday after Makosi (for game-related reasons) appeared to have stolen the house's ration of alcohol, 10 cans of cheap cider. Deprived of their booze - a constant source of worry - Saskia and Maxwell unleashed a torrent of abuse that skated close to outright racism and must have had Channel 4 management in a cold sweat.

Saskia - full name Saskia Howard-Clarke - raged at Makosi: "You lot, you've always got a chip on your shoulder." She continued her tirade: "You are a fake ... You wear a ****ing wig on your head," referring to Makosi's afro.

The white contestants persisted in disparaging the other housemates, with Craig objecting that Makosi was "not even British", describing the black contestants as "hyenas" and adding: "They're not ****ing right in the head." Saskia agreed, saying: "They get away with murder in this house."

The division became a physical one, with the four whites entrenched in a separate room in the house, maintaining a hostile front against the other five. Their spirits briefly rose when the organisers announced that new housemates were about to enter. But when he heard the new housemates' names (Eugene, Orlaith and Kinga) Maxwell worried that they "don't sound English. I wonder where they're from?". Crawley, Belfast and London, in fact.

Luckily for Channel 4 - and national harmony - Saskia or Maxwell will have been evicted last night, easing tensions. But the dangers were there from the start when the makers decided to include Saskia despite her declaring in her audition: "I don't like people coming into the country. I cannot generalise, but they all want to kill us, bomb us and they call us names." This was too much for The Sun, which editorialised this week that Saskia's views "sound very National Front to us".

Big Brother has always had ethnic-minority contestants, but the high proportion this year seems to have made racial divisions more pointed. In previous series black contestants have tended to lose out in voting against white rivals. This year, however, the public has chosen to evict white contestants, suggesting the audience is less concerned about race than a clique of the contestants.
