it's a sad refelction on the state of education in this country. sophie didn't listen at school because she was too busy looking out the window dreaming of being the next Pariis Hilton. or reading heat magazine at the back of the class with her mates.

Maybe we should have american-style education, where you get kept down a year until you've demonstrated that you've learned that particular level of education BEFORE being allowed to move up into the next level to re-join your peers - that is IF you ever achieve that level.
