VIDEO: Housemates must power the generator
 

The housemates were told yesterday that as part of the Future BB Task they would be doing a group challenge. They've just started it, and it looks like a toughie...



"Today housemates will have to take part in a group challenge as part of this week's Shopping Task," Marcus read out to the other housemates. "In the year 2209, the world is running drastically low on all natural energy resources. Big Brother has provided an energy generator, also known as two bicycles, on which two housemates must cycle at all times until further notice."



"The energy generator must be cycled at all times in order that the lightbulbs wired up to it are on at all times, apart from when the housemates are swapping places on the bikes," he continued. "Housemates will have to generate power for approximately seven hours today."



"I think we should do half an hour each," suggested Siavash, looking fairly confident.



"I can't cycle in this," said David, flapping his big pink alien feet around and looking a bit worried. He then waddled off to the Diary Room and was informed that he could take off the costume while cycling.



Marcus and Charlie were first on the bikes, and the challenge got off to a rocky start.



"It's very jerky," announced Marcus immediately, rethinking the half-an-hour each plan. "Three hits of 20 minutes."



"Ten minutes, honest to God!" corrected Charlie, breaking into a sweat while Siavash and David looked on. "Do you know how hard it is?"



"You lot ain't going to do half an hour on this," scoffed Marcus to the onlookers.



Charlie was beginning to pant. "It's only been two minutes! My legs are hurting!"



"I think this is a guaranteed fail," decided Marcus.



That's the spirit! Not.

This cycling task sounds rather familiar.Anyone remember how it affected poor old Belinda Belinda Belinda last year?
