I think Saivash is looking for credible acceptance in his life, he doesn't know if his father loves him or not and I am thinking he wants to know whether the public like him or not.

It's a harsh way of finding out, because he could be out on his ear being up against one of the house favourites, hardly a way to measure your acceptance level or likeability.
