From a fan of both, I think I\'ve found the reason for Marcus\' dislike of Siavash
 

The Alpha Male factor. In general Marcus from the start has been the biggest, strongest and generally macho HM, and this suits him well. However on the newbies arrival, who is the first person he takes a dislike too without any solid reasoning? Tom, the guy who's built bigger than him, therefore challenging his status as strongest alpha there. From there he never really gave him a chance and used Tom's knowledge of the HM's from watching the show as an excuse.

Recently I've noticed that his dislike of Siavash has sort of stemmed for similar reasons. Noirin is an obvious one, and I didn't like the way Siavash didn't let Marcus know that he was going to "go for it" with her, to at least tell him first. But anyway, Marcus stopped talking to Vash from there and said he was mad at him, not Noirin, over the whole thing. While he thought that there was a tiny, teeny, weeny chance of making it happen with Noirin, he knew full well she's not his possession, but let (sorry other Marcus fans) his Jealousy really show. Then he lost in the wrestling, and took it quite well, but really it's another blow. The wussy metrosexual guy, who beat him to the girl has just beat him in a physical test aswell.

Finally the rebel thing. Marcus used to spearhead them and you could even see tonight Marcus' face when Siavash tried to spur on the group to do something similar to the camera run break in everyday, not happy. Vash is now the one breaking the nomination rule each week and is taking over as main rebel.

Don't get me wrong though, Marcus has been legendary and made this series; but what I've highlighed is just a couple of cracks that dissapoint.

I think he lost respect for Siavash after he cheated on his girlfriend. He doesn't hate him though, friends fall out all the time.

I actually think he was a really good sport when he lost the wrestling and didnt seem too bothered about it.

I agree with the Noirin and rebel thing. Siavash is now becoming the rebel that Marcus always saw himself as

And agree with Colbert-Bump.... he doesnt hate him or anything and prob doesnt mind him, shown in how he has never nominated him

He's never nominated him, so I don't think he dislikes him as such.

I do think all of it stems from the whole Noirin thing personally.

Yeah, perhaps dislike is the wrong word. I think Siavash maybe somewhat a bit bothersome to him.

I did take it seriously, in BBLB yestoday they showed a clip in the diary room, marcus bitching about wrestling and saying how easily he could have killed him. What he didn't know Siavash had hidden wrestling experience. But wrestling is about strength.

You may be right..I don't think he actuallly dislikes Siavash but he never misses an opportunity to dis him to other housemates..he will undermine all potential rivals in the territory that he's marked for himself

It just goes to show Marcus' disgusting personality. Once you FORGIVE someone, you don't keep bringing it up. He is supposed to be friends with Siavash, yet at every given opportunity to undermine him, he does. He should be HAPPY that Siavash, his supposed FRIEND is organizing group activities instead of sleeping in the corner next to the pool. If that is how he acts towards his friends, it just goes to show that he is just basement-dwelling tree frog.

Only because it was with the girl he wanted...if it had been anyone else, I doubt he would of cared :wink:
