Day 85 ....Row 85
 

If there's one thing Marcus likes to have, it's control. Whether it's attempting to tell Big Brother how Big Brother ought to do things, or controlling what goes on the Shopping List, Marcus will be somewhere around. So, when Sophie asked for some more hair extensions, he went off on one.

"I think that's a **** take. I'm not being nasty to you Sophie, but you've already had two already," said Marcus.

"Yeah, but you get all this food that I don't even eat," Sophie replied, trying not to lose her temper. "You got loads of cereal last week that nobody ate."

"I'm leaving next Friday, so what's the problem with all the food?" Sophie added.

"It's not about the food," said a tetchy Marcus, "it's about always wanting stuff. You've already had two and that would be £16," he added as he mentally totted up in his head how much Sophie's hair had cost.

"It's the same as the tobacco really," Lisa chipped in.

"Yeah, but you've had all the tobacco," Marcus shot back at her. "What have me, Charlie and Rodrigo had?"

"Alright then," said Lisa crossly, "split the money evenly and we'll all have what we want."

Eventually Marcus relented and the hair extensions were added to the list and peace was temporarily restored. Well, at least until Sophie was out of earshot.

"It's just a **** take putting them hair extensions on," railed Marcus to Charlie and Rodrigo in an attempt to rally support. "You're not going to be able to get any alcohol," he added forebodingly.

"We'll get tokens and we can exchange them for alcohol," Rodrigo reminded him.

Careful Marcus, Rodrigo is Sophie's bezzie mate…

He has a point.

Why should sophie get extra just because shes going bald?

Why should the smokers get more because they smoke?

give over....al she wants is hair extentions she's running about in the house with **** all hair, if they could afford them twice already am sure they can get them again!

Considering 99% of the time i see her on screen shes eating, i think shes being unreasonable, shes not making any sacrifices.

I completely agree, but the same happens in the real world:

People who choose to have children get benefits, those who choose to focus on a career pay for them with high taxes.

Those who don't bother to work claim job seekers, those who go to university, get nothing (then end up paying for future benefits when they get a better job because they are educated).

A bit of a simplistic (and in some respects exaggerated) view I know, but some of those who choose a way of life through their own free will always expect to (and get) more than their own fair share.

Sophie is silly dumb cow, with a voice that makes me ill, i really ****ing hate her more than Bea you know.

Marcus has a point. I think I would be irritated by being continually deprived of resources such as food and drink because of something as irrelevant as hair extensions.

That said, he could have expressed it in a slightly calmer way. But then I suppose most people would be reaching the end of their tether after so long.
