Why Hasn't DS Sunk?
 

DS (unlike other BB forums) makes members pay (well, that's what I heard anyway).

So why would people part with good money to join a forum, when they could go free?

And why the hell is DS so damn popular anyway?? The 'net should be FREE!

And why would Marcus join there (and pay presumably)??? Or ANY ex housemate for that matter?

Also the moderators on DS are complete tossers, and have selective bias towards certain FMS who get away with the most appalling posts yet never get banned. If you post against a HM the moderators like, you will get banned or your post is removed. I took great pleasure in responding to my ban by doing a Marcus and telling them to stick it up their a*ses, sad little gits. Certainly no concept of free speech on DS.:nono:

you dont have to pay if you use you ISP email address only free email accounts you need to pay, but if you look around for not so popular email accounts you will fly in under the mods radar. I paid £5 once but got it back once i got band they say its not refundable as long as its with in 30 days open a dispute with paypal and they will soon give it back:thumbs: if they dont paypal will not let them accept payments untill the dispute as been settled they cough up with in hours.

I got banned when i was trying to argue my point without using any swear words.

They are the saddest forum folks i have ever come across, you say anything they dont like, they will complain and put a ban on you..

So stuck up their arses, they cant figure out their backside from the front

Didn't you change another person's quote though? Or am I thinking of someone else?

DS offers what other forums don't offer... news and exclusive interviews. They are seen as a legitimate journalistic site rather than just a forum. So people go there for the news and then participate in the forum (as opposed to a place like this where it is just a forum). And because they are so strict, there are less trolls than there are here. (Though with the addition of new mods, this forum is getting MUCH better--Thanks!)

I hope DS mods die slow painful death.

Nah not me, i was actually defending Siavash at one point, and a whole bunch of the holier than thou jumped on me saying he shouldn't have cheated on his girlfriend.. come on.. bunch of saddos,

You dont need to take things so seriously and i think forums should be an enjoyable place where you say whatever you want provided you dont use swear words or start trolling,, but hey ok no probs...
