Siavash's scam

When Siavash was deciding the dancers he done it by making them pick which hand the object was in. First David who won, then Charlie who lost. He gave himself the best chance of staying in by letting them pick first. He could only lose if all 3 chose correctly. Odds were greatest for him to win a place which he seemed pretty desperate to do. It should have been done by drawing straws.

In theory no, but I very much doubt siavash thought of that.

setanta 02-09-2009 10:16 PM

You're going to get hammered for this one but it's a really insightful comment to make. The odds of him becoming a dancer were far greater than the other two and he was obviously keenly aware of it. Well done squire.

Oh yes of course he was aware of it. Obviously he was so desperate to be a dancer that he tried to fix it in his favour. You can read his mind as well now can you? Jesus Christ!

Why don't you take off your glasses clouded with pure hatred for the guy for a second and try looking at it objectively?

If anyone else had decided the task that way, and noone had kicked up a stink like Charlie did, noone would be making a fuss. But because he did and Siavash did the hand picking thing, oh surprise surpise, Vash is a schemer.

Seriously this is getting so tiresome now.

Nope, this is getting to the final few days of the show and they'll literally do anything for airtime, including Siavash. His odds of becoming a dancer were far far greater than the other two.... you don't have to be a mathematical genius to see that and he was so aware of this.

trasadkel 02-09-2009 10:24 PM

Siavash is the slyest gameplayer in there but noone can see it.

As I have said before Roddy is the only one keeping it real. He never puts himself up to be centre of attention in the tasks. He is ,whether you like him or not, showing us the real Rodrigo and is the most genuine housemate in there. He has shown us his good and bad sides but has also been immensely entertaining providing many laugh out loud moments.

I am very surprised that he is not more popular on here.

Its coming closer to the end so people are trying to pick at every little thing every housemate does to try and swing favor for their chosen HM more like. This thread is ridiculous.

The sophie hate ones are worse though, I have never seen such petty reasons for people to be whinging, seriously.

kistar 02-09-2009 10:26 PM

So just ignore what I said about if any other HM had been the one to come up with that way of deciding and noone had kicked off, then nobody on here would be making a big deal about it. How convenient. Any excuse to call Vash a schemer, a game player or sly and you lot are jumping on it, no matter how fickle the reasoning behind it. It's pathetic tbh.

I haven't ignored any of the rest of them.... admitted that they're all looking for airtime but this is further proof of Siavash's calculating mind as he constructed a strategy that would give him the best chance of getting his own way. He's always playing the percentages in that house and this perfectly illustrates that fact. He's just as big a douche as many of the others - just far more subtle about it.
