Expecting big shocks on Friday
 

I am expecting some shock results on Friday. A BB final has not gone as expected since Shilpa's win in 2007.

Brian Belo took the prize over bookies favourite Amanda and Sam, and was also second/third in all the polls. Then John came from nowhere and won Hijack, despite being a rank outsider. Also Emilia coming second was a shock. Rachel winning last year was a big blow to the bookies - who expected Mikey to take the prize. And then Ulrika winning over Verne in January.

I am not expecting this years final to go as bookies or fans expect. I dont know what the shock result will be - but I hope it isn't that Sophie doesn't win. Sophie FTW!

It seems to be a bad thing if people are favourite to win by the bookies... sort of a curse...

I still want to know why terry christian didn't win CBB?

If Sophie doesn't win I will eat my own head.

The only thing that would shock me on Friday is if David won. My jaw would hit the floor. I don't particularly hate him or anything,he has lots of good,nice traits aswell as very annoying ones. I just don't think he has a chance of winning. I think it will be unpredictable between the rest,as to what position they'll finish.

Rodrigo will sneak it I'd bet. Mikey didn't deserve to win last year as he was a moody fool

I really don't think there will be a shock this year. I think the polls are pretty much what we'll see.

I don't either. It feels like he did and then they show Ulrika in a clip and it makes you ask 'how did that happen?'

I wouldn't want to guess this year or any order. It does feel way too happenstance on just whatever mood the public is in and who bothers voting.
The thinking is probably on that big strong demographic of young women and their Mums who will back whoever they think is the 'girl power' HM in some weird pseudo-feminist type of 'statement' of some inexplicable kind.
In this case they must settle on Sophie - even though Sophie is just about the ultimate 'non-feminist' or even 'anti-feminist' example in life.
But it becomes 'her against the pushy men' - even though it's nearly 4 women.
So yeah.. I could see it because that big section of typical voters tends to come out hard and fast and dedicated when it comes to dialing numbers.

I do think Sophie will win it now. She is popular with the public, on forums and with bookies. Usually you only need 1 of 3 to win. The twins never won because odds were inflated due to expectations of a shared fan base and Brian was very popular, Rachel was very popular online and there were very big and frequent pushes for votes which I think may have swayed the vote slightly due to small voting numbers, as well as the expectation of Mikey winning. I have no idea how Ulrika won but I'm glad she did it

I have a feeling Rodrigo will be the suprise in BB this year.

My mum was saying the exact same thing that the BB winner hasn't been the same since the thing with Shilpa and Jade.
