Someone wanting £5,000 on David on Betfair

at 70

Mickey2009 03-09-2009 10:26 PM

that works out at £350,000 less the rate if he wins. Must be someone whos either A.) Mad ..or B.) knows something we dont.

minx36 03-09-2009 10:29 PM

OR very rich and bored (maybe they're watching BB10)

£5000....wow...I thought the guy who put £1000 on Marcus was brave!

Mickey2009 03-09-2009 10:34 PM

[rquote=2533229&tid=145964&author=mother6]Vivien[/rquote] Nah i think she'd be laying him.....on Betfair

30stone 03-09-2009 10:35 PM

David has had a very good night toinght i expect his odds to shorten, but he wont win.

So im guessing whoever did is pretty rich.

atieah2009 03-09-2009 10:37 PM

id like to see david win

atieah2009 03-09-2009 10:45 PM

well if hes going to win £350,000 then he should vote 500,000 times yes hell lost £175,000 on top but hell have a chance to win some extra $$$$$$$$$$$$

**** I didnt think of this.

So if I put a £10,000 bet on David and voted like hell do you think it would work?

Only problem is channel 4 don't dell people who many votes were actually done. If it is in the million mark then I wouldnt do it, but if there are only 500,000 voters it will be well worth me putting 10 grand on david to win and just hit redial from now until fridy night.

Celeb_Rehab 03-09-2009 11:11 PM

I wonder what happened to that guy who put a grand on Marcus to win?

MiuMiu 03-09-2009 11:15 PM

Ah bless,
but.
This man needs help.
David, unfortunatly, isn't going to win:sad:
Please, somebody sigh that man into a retireing home.
It'll be for his own safty.
:cat:

FM Claymores could have explained how it all works - as he was banned on 21 August for 7 days and TIBB still aint fixed it, pehaps I can -

every £1 you lay to that betfair gambler @ 70 is gonna cost you £69 investment and he/she is gambling it will drop to 65 tomorrow when resell it on another market. INSTANT PROFIT.

Vicky. 03-09-2009 11:18 PM

If somene stands to win 350k from him winning, trust me he will win.

They will pay their mates to ring, and ring none stop themselves.

How do you know this mickey?

And surely his odds would change if someone had place that much on him,...not that I know much about betting odds...

alchemists1 03-09-2009 11:18 PM

Does any1 know the figures on any of the phone votes?
You never know voting 5,000 times could be enough to influence the results.

It has been pretty much 70 all day - the HL show made the gamble - tomorrow it might shorten a bit then resell.

The_Long_Run 03-09-2009 11:19 PM

He's wanting £5,000 but he's got to find £350,000 to cover it before the bet is made.

luminoussun 03-09-2009 11:20 PM

Big brother put it on i think from the pro david footage of late.
Maybe the betting gang will ruin it all again like rachel last year

King Gizzard 03-09-2009 11:22 PM

probably a genius idea lol...put your money on the least favourite, 5k on him, spend lots of money voting for him to win, then reak in a big profit

santaa 03-09-2009 11:28 PM

Makes it all so futile if indeed this can happen. With only 2 mil viewers voting figures will not be high. Friday night , lots must be out
