Humour can be of many different types, the lowest form of humour is laughing at someone, either the way they talk or laugh or mannerisms, that is the lowest cause its nasty in a way.. and thats what you are doing..

I would prefer to laugh when someone says something funny,

The reason david has got such a forced laughter, is that numpies find it funny, and hence hes not bothered to develop his intellect in being funny in an intelligent way.. but hey if there is an audience, there is always gonna be a performer.. so good on you..
