The future of TIBB
 

In the OP of this announcement thread we had


What does this mean for the future of TIBB after tonight when talking about using a different board. :puzzled:

Is this the end of TIBB?

Is it going to merge with another forum?

Could we have clarification please

:shocked: I had no idea it was friday, thought it was wednesday. Just aswell you posted this Sticks or i'd have forgot about the final tonight.

I did just lose 2 days though :bawling:

I really do hope we can just keep everything the same and maybe focus less on Big Brother and more on Reality Television. Big Brother is the term used for people watching you, so it would still kind of go together because that is what Reality TV is all about anyway. If the name changed I think the site would lose popularity, and hey, Big Brother may be coming back in the future, Nobody knows

I am sure Mark or James will give us some details soon.

I think he just means a new type of forum, the same website name and stuff just a new safer forum type. Its powered by XMB now... but there are loads of others, and the change is too prevent this hacking stuff again.

Now Big Brother 2009 is over what is the time scale for the deliberations on TIBB in Moderator Towers?

Are we moving? This server can't take my greatness!

I'm sure TiBB will be near enough back to how it was in a few weeks. Anyway, what are you looking for, clarification of the forum being kept open? What the forum will be focusing on (Reality TV/Big Brother)?

What "use a different board" means

Mark said after the final, descisions would be made. With BB being cancelled by C4, there is also interest in what is happening with TiBB and other related forums.

Surely that would just mean switching from XMB to another forum type?

I'll be putting a message up in the next few days on what will happen to the forum.

I have not been around here long but it has been a blast, great to know I can still discuss BB here online.

It is good to hear that it is due to continue, but it would be nice to hear what is happening if that is possible.

I tend to like the non-BB stuff and the off season discussions.
