That was last season, with unprecedented injuries and the zonal marking disasters. Man for man, best available eleven on the pitch, and I think Liverpool are superior in pretty much all areas to man'ure now. Keane is at best half the player he was a few years ago, and only Gary Neville, O'Shea, Ronaldo and the diving horse are any real threat. The rest are merely skittles. And as you say, Arsenal are really going to miss Vierra. They may lose Campbell and Pires yet, too. Arsenal have quality in depth in their squad which we can't match at the moment, but I don't think their best eleven is any better than ours, either.
We're 2 - 1 up at half-time, anyway - and Jamie Carragher scored! :dance:
