Why do they bother? What kind of strange person have you got to be? The minute someone says they're an ex-housemate I'm sceptical, I'm sure the majority are.

I would LOVE for the Marcus person to be real, but it's quite clear that one person is bored so has made them all at once.

Well to be fair, they have exposed some people to be totally full of hatred even for someone that's more than likely to be a fake.

You illustrate my point exactly, "you can be anyone you like online". People on forums in many cases are fantasists who have have little or no social skills. Forums give them the chance to be anyone they like - ie fakes.

The press releases were a spoof and if you don't realise that then you really have problems. I do have access to press releases because I write articles for magazines. Mainly popular culture and I also occasionally write about sport and social issues.

Marcus, Freddie, Hira,Bea, Noirin, Tom, Siavash, Sophie and Roddy on here!!

But even if they are fake, that doesn't give posters the right to be down right rude and horrible. I have been reading the posts and they are awful, no wonder the real HM's never come on. As much as I hate to say it, maybe those posters on DS are right for once.

It's not as bad as DS. Look at the posts on Davina, some to the degree were it's edging on some of them accepting the death threats of Davina. Low life scum.

You are absolutely correct. The quality of posts on here is very poor. There are some posters who use wit, guile, insight and maturity to portray their views. However, the majority of posters think one-liners such as "Get xyz out!" and making a thread about is somehow interesting.

Quality counts.
