New BBC1 Watchdog was a damp squib
I used to watch Watchdog when it was on before with that Nicky Campbell, and was interested to see what difference Anne Robinson would make when she returned to the show after a 20 year absence.
But the result was a joke that wasn't even funny. Long, drawn out films, were interspersed with drab interviews with boring officials. Then if that wasn't bad enough. ROGUE TRADERS, a programme which was good in its own right was stitched into this new Watchdog. The result again, total cr*p. It reminded me of That's Life, a programme me ol' grand daddy used to tell me about. |
Yes very True
Typical of the Bloated BBC to Dumb It Down. It is a hour Show with Rogue Traders fitted in. So thats the end of Rogue Traders he now is now fittted in as a Laugh Item with Dear Old Ann. Maybe the Pathetic Bloated BBC think they are like the Gadget Show on Ch5. Of Course it is nothing like it and was far better before with Mr. Hancock doing a Great Job and Service. Poxy BBC. |
I liked it. Rogue Traders and Watchdog are great shows. However, I didn't appreciate how comical it has become. Doesn't seem right.

Yes 'Comical' Pathetic BBC Dumbing Down Utter Fact. |
Rogue Traders is now dead...:bawling:

I really liked Rouge Traders but now it's regarded as their "comedy item", along with all the other very dire jokes and a gormless audience standing around looking slightly dazed "i fort it were tickets for Britain's got talent".
As you said, useless dumbing down. And the pram section, what the hell? "We put a baby doll into a pram then put it on a bucking bronco! Nice research!" |
