Jeff Hardy arrested for drug trafficking

Quote:

Jeff Hardy has been arrested on charges of trafficking in controlled prescription pills and possession of anabolic steriods, according to a report on pilot.com.

A search of Hardy’s home in Cameron, N.C., yielded large quantities of Vicodin and Soma prescription pills, anabolic steroids and a residual amount of cocaine. He was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $125,000.

It goes without saying that these are serious charges and Hardy would be facing jail time if convicted.

WWE brass has to be feeling incredibly fortunate that this did not occur a few weeks ago. Hardy, who recently let his WWE contract run out and worked his last match on Aug. 25, was involved in a months-long story line in which his past violations of the company’s drug policy were a focal point. He was portrayed as the free-spirited babyface, while the heel -- CM Punk -- preached that everyone should “just say no." How bad would that have looked for WWE if Hardy got arrested in the middle of that?

Hardy reportedly left WWE on very good terms, and it was considered a given that he would return at some point. Since his second Wellness Program violation in March 2008, Hardy repeatedly tested clean.

Hardy has been commenting about his arrest on his Twitter account. He wrote: “A lot of exaggerations are out there today, don’t believe everything you read 4 it is not true, I am at home and fine-thanks for your concern.” About a half hour later, he wrote: “The media is the media, I wish they would at least report the story correctly & accurately. I will make a statement later.”

HOLY ****ING ****

Although Jeff Hardy seems ticked off at the media with the way we have covered the story so far, we are going by a press release that the Moore County Sheriff's Department issued about the incident. As for reports that Matt Hardy bailed him out, again, the Moore County Sheriff's Department stated that Jeff's "brother" bailed him out. Hardy's house was raided after an investigation, pills and cocaine are found, bail is set at $125,000..... are we really the people he should be pissed at?

We can now confirm that Hardy is now free on bail following his arrest earlier today for a number of drug charges. His bail was set at $125,000 and while Deputy Neil Godfrey of the Moore County Sheriff's Department in Cartage, North Carolina stated that Hardy was bailed out by his brother Matt Hardy today, Jeff Hardy is claiming the opposite writing the following on Twitter: "For the record, Matt didn't bail me out, loan me money, or is his name on anything. He's just learning about today's situation."

As reported earlier, Hardy was officially charged with the following: felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Yeah same, there's only so many mistakes someone can make before you lose respect for them......

It's also weird that nearly a year ago to the date that he was stopped in an airport before for acting suspiciously.......

Also he won't be on his third strike if he ever gets back into WWE.............

No way.

Anabolic steroids are illegal in every state.

The only way that you can get it if its prescribed by a doctor.

No it is Not
as a Seller who sells to the Wrong person,
who does not have any idea how dangerous they are,
could end up being killed them.

Look at Rick Rude
he was getting his own supply
not getting Pro Help (to save money)
it killed him.

Jeff is the most over guy in WWE and could have had more then three title reigns if he stayed. Kids and adults love him unlike Cena.

This won't help him at all with getting back in WWE and his rumoured tv show on MTV. His DVD release from WWE has been cancelled too
