Oh, Never heard of/uesd it before. For £26.30 is that a good rate. It looks pricy so it muct be good.

Every computer has one mate. Even yours. Some are attached to the main board (a motherboard) but you can put them on the motherboard as well. This is usually to operate more graphics intensive programs faster.

For 1gb this is fairly cheap but I liked at the specs and it seems this is a 256mb card.

Some laptops have their own graphics cards, others have them built in.

It basically determines how good of quality you view images on your computer, Harry. A good one means the picture is crisp and clear, and a bad/average ones means they're maybe slightly pixelated or something. Every computer/laptop has one by default, but you can buy "better" ones to increase quality.

I wouldn't say pixelated - I'd say it takes longer to render the image while a good quality one on a good quality board will render things faster and allow you to do more (graphics based) things at once.
