'Fame' has depressed me.
 

Just got in from seeing the new 'Fame' remake at the cinema.
OMFG.
How amazing are they?
They're actually like PERFECT.
&now I feel crap in comparison [I'm a Performing Arts student too].
I know they rehearse for months and stuff, but it just looks so amazingg and I want people to feel that when they watch me.
&&now I'm DREADING theatre school auditions in case they're really strict seeing as they have hundreds of people apply for like. 20 places.
It just makes me wonder like.
I work so fricken hard at college, and I'm getting really good grades but if you flop at the audition, or aren't as good as say, 20 other people, you're useless.

okay. maybe i'm just being a tad silly but rawr.

Those people have feared the same things before. At the end of the day, they were once "just" students with a passion for theatre. You can definitely reach that high!

Heh, I came in here thinking the obvious: Some down-on-his-luck celebrity has had enough of The Spotlight and is venting. This always makes me laugh.... I'm so sick of all the money... all the women... all the drugs... all the parties... all the free sh** I can afford but don't have to buy... all the swimming pools... all the dancing midgets....

It'd be like making a thread complaining that your penis is too big for your pants.

I really didn't think about it that way (that they were once students in my position)

I fell asleep during the film. Would you want someone to fall asleep while you're performing?

At the end of the day you will never know until you have tried and given your all.Never doubt yourself and work hard that way at the end of it all at least you can say you gave it your best.Like Lauren said,those people were once in your position,Im sure there were times when they felt they weren`t good enough.
