"Open your Eyes" and "I Gotta Feeling" Intro Identical?

Was it just me who was tempted to sing "I gotta feeling" during the Snow Patrol video at around 36 seconds in.

I understand why I thought "I gotta feeling" would have been a great Best Bits song, because of the intro which sounds indentical to "Open Your Eyes" which was used in CBB5s best bits.

Nah it's not a mick take. They all use the same 4 chords.

If you play the 4 chords on a guitar, you can play all of those songs.

It's basically G, D, Em, C and sometimes A. But those four chords - you can play almost anything.
