I got a puppy :D
My mate and his girlfriend got a pup, but they split up, she didnt treat the dog right anyways(he ate a tub of hairgel and she didnt even take it to the vets :bored:) and he moved out into his mates, in high rise flats. We were meant to be looking after the dog for a couple of days until he got sorted, but he has decided we can keep him, as the dog is so used to us, and settled straight away...it even ignored him last time he came round...staffie cross jack russel...hes bloody gorgeous
|
Awww lush, what's his name? x
|
I dont even know how to spell it...
Ryu I think...very strange name, the kids just call him patches  |
Staffies are great dogs and russels can be quite cantankerous at times, but yeah, what age is he and are you giving him the full run of the house or training him? I'm so jealous. Would love to have a pup to train right now.

nope love me like women:tongue: no i was joking my Gf has a dog |
Hes 5 months...am training him obviously...I answer to noone, especially not a dog :)
But when he was just meant to be stopping, we let him sleep on our bed, which is now proving very hard to get him out of, i gave him his first bath today, was very very fun. Hes expensive though, eats like a horse, but apparently staffies are like that. Hes such a strange pup, he doesnt bark, chew, he wont eat anything if it gets dropped on the floor, that even goes for his biscuits, he tries to eat them off his paws, but if it touches the floor he wont touch it! |

Pain in the arse changing their habits after they think they have the run of the place and you. Any dogs around there that he could meet up with? Always good to socialise them. |

Ever since then, whenever he sees another dog he hides behind our legs. Wel get him used to it eventually though, once we move wel probably be getting another one anyway, so they can play with each other |
I want a dog!!!

Speaking of animals. My cat just came and sat inbetween my leg to go to sleep... bitch taking up my space.
