I think he is. Its the only explaination for his distain and hatred of Orlaigh?

I totally and strongly disagree and this thread is likely to be closed pretty soon cos we had enough trouble with "X is a racist" threads before.

And come on, it can not be the only explanation of his disliking Orlaith, there are plenty of people out there who don't like Orlaith, does that make them all racist?

It's more likely that Derek dislikes Orlaith because of her constant whinging about wanting to leave the house. It's nothing to do with race.

It's also a very flawed statement. If Derek WAS racist, there's no way he would have picked Eugene as one of the housemates he wanted to save.
