It's not Beyonce's GODAMN SONG!

'At Last' was done by Etta James, Dermot!

I thought it wasn't Beyonces! I was like but I have all her albums and this isn't on it....

Did she sing it in Dreamgirls?

Tom4784 17-10-2009 09:07 PM

No she sang it at Barrack Obama's inauguration ball and acted like she owns it since.

Marc 17-10-2009 09:08 PM

It was 'beyonce's version' lol but yeah I agree they try to make it more interesting for the younger audience if they hear Etta James then they're like 'wtf!?'

Nice to know you're well equianted with Google. Etta James' version changed the pace and melody and such so it was different from the original. It's her version that's made the song so famous.

Waaaw!! thats unreal. I wouldnt be surprised if he really thinks that, unless he just read the script, in whih case, its the shows fault.

Wrong.
She actually recorded it as part of the "Cadillac Records" soundtrack because in the film she played Etta James.
So to say that she has acted like it's hers is really ignorant.
