The new 'group song' element

I.e. ripping off American Idol.

What do you think of it?

Personally, not a fan of it purely because it's an American Idol thing; but I did like Queen of the Night, I thought Miss Frank absolutely dominated the female vocals, there's a part of it when you watch it on YouTube where they sing, and then immediately after Lucie, Rachel and Stacey are singing, they sound so weak in comparison. In general though, I dislike it and I think it should be left to the American audiences, it's not for us.

I think its a good idea, I just don't like how nearly everyones miming in it

30stone 22-10-2009 12:06 AM

I like it a lot.

Think the frst week was amazing.

Iceman 22-10-2009 12:11 AM

First week was brilliant....not so much a fan of last weeks...

Tom4784 22-10-2009 12:15 AM

I don't think it detracts from anything, it's okay but the results show would probably be a bit boring without it.

Yeah, I'm liking the 2 guests on each week but other than that and the group song, the results is way too long drawn out...

GypsyGoth 22-10-2009 12:32 AM

I like the group song.

Arneldo 22-10-2009 07:56 AM

Really it's just a way of filling in time now they have the Sunday time slot. I'd much rather this time was spent talking to the finalists though.

teabag. 22-10-2009 11:54 AM

its silly that they were miming last week
i didnt like queen of the night but i got a feeling was good

xDramatick 22-10-2009 12:54 PM

Eh, I think it's alright.

NettoSuperstar! 22-10-2009 02:28 PM

Its pants, it makes me feel ill

Jords 22-10-2009 03:28 PM

I think its a great idea (:

LemonJam 22-10-2009 03:49 PM

I like it, I think it'll be more effective when it gets down to the final 7.

Princess 22-10-2009 03:57 PM

I like it! It's nice to see them all sing together.

Tom 22-10-2009 05:24 PM

On paper its really good but its actually awful

Lewis. 22-10-2009 06:51 PM

It's not that bad, I quite like seeing how they will sound as one big group. I'm surprised they are not doing another charity single this year, it really raised the reputation of the X factor last year when they did it.

In all fairness though, the girls bit was alot more difficult to sing.

But Miss Frank are better singers, no doubt.

MiuMiu 22-10-2009 09:57 PM

It's always a mime fest.
Therefore, it's a massive fail.
:(

Yeah I agree, and therefore it failed spectacularly as they all tried to hit, and they all missed .

True, they have to fill that hour up some way!

Beastie 24-10-2009 03:19 PM

I love the group song! It proves who are the better performers though! (eg John and Edward :D)
