Its easy

To see why big brother ducks up every year. They do

'vote to evict'

If they did

'Vote to win'

I guarantee you would be left with the entertainers.

Thats how they do it on celeb get me out of here.

Theres no coincidence in the fact the boring ones go first.

I guarantee that Kemal would have stayed under that voting system.

*PlayGirl* 30-07-2005 10:31 AM

I agree. I think Science and Kemal were the two biggest personalities in there. From what I can see the British public want to spend their days watching a very, very boring BB this year and I'm totally disgusted with it.

CharlotteSometimes 30-07-2005 10:33 AM

With that system in place, Science would've been gone already and never faced Orlaith at all.

Ruth 30-07-2005 10:35 AM

I agree; we should be voting for who we want to stay. Science and Kemal were both strong personalities who people either really liked or really disliked. Although more people might have disliked them than disliked Orlaith, I also believe that more people liked them than liked her. As wierd as that may sound, what I mean is that a lot of people didn't have much of an opinion about Orlaith either way. So there were a lot of people who voted to evict Science or Kemal because they didn't like them, whereas a lot of people didn't phone to evict Orlaith because they didn't really care one way or the other, and the only reason for a lot of people to vote her out was to keep Science or Kemal in. If they didn't like Science or Kemal, they might not have voted. If we were voting for who to keep, again, a lot of people wouldn't vote for Orlaith because they're indifferent to her (that's the feedback I've had off people who have been watching), but loads of people would have voted for Science or Kemal.

Agreed!

I'm not so sure. Science was hugely popular in the house. I know Maxwell was as well, but Maxwell lost a lot of fans shortly before he and Science faced the public vote.

*PlayGirl* 30-07-2005 10:38 AM

.. which is why he went.

hass 30-07-2005 10:41 AM

yes i think that would work better! and then we would still have maxwell in. i think they should just get rid of the nominations process and put all of them up every week for the public to vote who they want to stay and the person with the least goes :spin2: lol

No, he wasn't. He may have been outside the house, with the audience, but not in the house at all. Science was a maverick, and he was always destined to be a loner in the house as he was on an entirely different level to the rest of them. I think Maxwell would've beaten Science in a head-to-head vote to stay, for no other reason than he made people laugh. Science's appeal was different, and not as obvious to the masses as Maxwell's. Science had received hardly any screen time in comparison to Maxwell at that point, so for those that only watch the CH4 nightly recaps, he would've been as legendary as Vanessa.

Ruth 30-07-2005 10:44 AM

Sorry, I meant to write that Science was hugely popular outside the house - my mistake. The point I was making that when he and Maxwell were up, he would have had a good chance of staying, if we were voting for who we wanted to stay.

Ruth 30-07-2005 10:45 AM

I watched mainly the CH4 recaps, and I thought Science got a fair amount of screen time to be honest.

CharlotteSometimes 30-07-2005 11:10 AM

And how much of that wasn't arguments with Tweedle Dum, Tweedle Dee & Tweedle ****? :spin:

Fangz 30-07-2005 11:11 AM

Lol, those nick-names suited them so well, eh?

That's the best way. I would prefer that.

If you think about it he had hardly any arguements with Maxwell, a few at most they spent most of time apart.

CharlotteSometimes 30-07-2005 11:24 AM

They had an argument pretty much every day. Perhaps you were hitting the play button instead of the 4 on the remote?

Dan_ 30-07-2005 11:27 AM

They kept away from each other most day's and it was only in Maxwell's last week that they argued a lot.

That was my highlight of the series, without a doubt. Every time I think about it, especially the emphasis he put on those 't' words, it cracks me up.

It started long before then.

Are we thinking about the same show, here?

It may have started before then but it was only in his last week that they continually snapped at each other. A lot of the time they spent time apart with Maxwell hanging out in the living room and Science on his own.

CharlotteSometimes 30-07-2005 11:38 AM

And the two of them arguing every time they came into contact with each other ...

Fangz 30-07-2005 11:47 AM

Even when they weren't arguing, there was tension between them.

Dan_ 30-07-2005 11:49 AM

I think they avoided each other a fair bit.

Kore 30-07-2005 11:51 AM

i wonder if maxwell and science have seen eachother on the outside...
