Would anyone here honestly buy a John and Edward CD?

For all those who 'support' them, would you actually buy their CD if it was released? I imagine the main reason they have supporters is because they rely on OTT performances (which they are good at) but surely you'd want the John and Edward show rather than the music? They'd be pretty good at Butlins or something....

This is why I believe they're being kept in just for the tour or for a joke which is fastly becoming unfunny.

Yeah, I agree. The twins cannot sing at all and the only people who are voting to keep them in are the Irish people who live in the UK (they can vote if they live in the UK) and teenage girls who find them sweet or "fit".

If they are not out of the competition within 2 weeks I will be very suprised because people are already getting annoyed with them due to the fact that good acts like Miss Frank and Danyl are in the bottom 2 when they don't deserve to be.

yes I would buy their cd :D

I live in the UK, I am NOT irish and I am not voting for them on the way they look, the bottom line is.. they are bloody entertaining and they keep my saturday nights ALIVE!

They are good entertainers but this is a singing competition. Honestly, if they were on Britains Got Talent I'd be probably a fan of them - but it just seems wrong that they're getting through above people more talented than them.

If they can come out one week, not have explosive lights, dancers and cheap twin gimmicks like colours and perform a slow song and show they can actually sing, I'll take back what I've said and agree with you. That's what everyone else is capable of doing.

They would most probably do well on kids TV but they certainly do not belong in a contest like the X Factor. I do not see anything special in them and they are not great singers.

Stacey. 26-10-2009 02:07 PM

definitely... i love them <3
forever! and ever!!!
without a doubt i would buy all their CDs x

Beastie 26-10-2009 02:10 PM

They are good singers though! but good performers too! they have the whole package! they deserve to be on the x factor! the best contestants ever!

MrGaryy 26-10-2009 02:17 PM

They can't sing as well as the other acts in the competition but I don't think it's fair to say they deserve to be there less than other acts. Obviously people enjoy watching them and are voting them over people like Rachel or Danyl who they are clearly NOT enjoying watching as they aren't voting for. It is after all a public voted show.

WOMBAI 26-10-2009 02:44 PM

Maybe a singing competition should not be a public vote show - because people vote for the wrong reasons - which makes a mockery of what the show is supposed to be about.

Maybe the public should have some say - but not as much as they do.

Mind you, having said that, even the judges are putting acts through for the wrong reasons. Louis even admitted he only put J&E through to annoy Simon. Simon puts through those he thinks will be more popular and enable him to win.

This is a competition between the judges - each wanting to win. All about their egos and making lots of money.

It should not be called a talent competition - it is not.

Yes to step on it:)

I don't buy CD's

Tom 26-10-2009 04:05 PM

No but then again I wouldn't buy anything from anyone from X Factor

Tom4784 26-10-2009 04:17 PM

I think people would buy their CD as a joke or something like how the Crazy Frog got to number 1 and such but nobody would enjoy it and people are fooling themselves if they think J+E have a future in music.
