Relapse 2 - Eminem
 

Eminem has reportedly spoken for the first time about his forthcoming album Relapse 2.

The record will be the sequel to 2009's Relapse and is expected to be released before the end of the year. According to Gigwise, during a recent radio interview Eminem revealed that Relapse 2 would feature a head-to-head collaboration with 50 Cent.

"We've kind of done it on other records, but not like to the extent on this one," he explained.

While Relapse was produced mainly by Dr Dre, Eminem said that the sequel featured a team of producers, including Denaun and Just Blaze. "The way that it is going right now, Denaun has two tracks on the album, and Just Blaze has four, possibly five," the rapper said.

However, Eminem remained tight-lipped about the influences for the album, only admitting that he was in "a different space" compared to when he wrote the original.

"With the last record, I think a lot of it had to do with me getting sober, my eyes being open again," he said. "With Relapse, I wanted to prove myself that I could still do it. The zany, loony, ridiculous ****, so a lot of that album is rapid-fire punchlines. Now I’m at a point where I'm blessed enough to be in a position where I don’t need to put out records, but I want to."

The star also ruled out the possibility of touring before the album's release

By the looks of this interview he's done with the comedy songs.....(except Mariah's of course)

I think it may be pronounced relapse squared.....not sure yet though.....

Hope he has songs like cleaning out my closet or lose yourself...

i love eminem, but yeh i agree i hope it isn't full of comedy shite.

Naw, the name of the album is Relapse 2.

Well as long as the 2 isnt just plonked onto the album, I wont mind :joker:
