Louis Walsh: 'Kylie is not a great singer'

Louis Walsh has reportedly slammed popstar Kylie Minogue, claiming that she is "not a great singer".

The X Factor judge allegedly made the comments when asked if he thought that twins John and Edward Grimes have strong enough vocals to succeed on the ITV1 show.

"Anything is possible. Look at Bros, Jason Donovan... look at Kylie, they're not great singers," he told The Mirror.

"Being a popstar is not just about the voice, it's about the whole thing."

According to reports, the brothers recently conceded that they are not the strongest singers in the competition.

The X Factor continues on Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.

she hasn't got a good voice in the sense of diva vocals, she has great vocals for dance music.

She wouldnt win X factor for her voice no, but she puts on a great show

It's true you don't need great vocals but you need likability and the ability to interpret songs to your style. Louis is obviously after attention though and trying to make J&E appear likable. I hate Louis so much.

He's quite keen to rip into the Minogues, isn't he? He's right about it not just being about the voice though!

Yep the x factor is not just about the "voice". We do not need another Leona, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey etc.. you do need the whole package, to be confident and have a great likable personality, your own image and just someone we have not come across before.

Kylie is good for what she is.. kylie is kylie.

the x factor is about someone standing out from the crowd for all the good reasons.. or maybe something you just cant put your finger on!
