I'd go;

01. Diana Vickers - Yellow (Not a great vocal but it was such an intense performance after the whole omg laryngitis thing)
02. Alisha Bennett - Valerie (Again, I loved the whole 'fighter' spirit in this performance. She knew it was her last chance and she proper fought for it)
03. Nikitta Angus - Last Dance (The first night she properly came into her own and gave a knockout vocal, only to be eliminated lmao)
04. Ruth Lorenzo - Love Aint Here Anymore (My fave from Ruth, it was so passionate and such an impressive song choice)
05. JLS - Working My Way Back To You (The first week I actually thought they could do well after the show)
06. Rachel Adedeji - One (It came out of NOWHERE and was a near perfect vocal)
07. Diana Vickers - Everybody Hurts (Everyone HATED this but I thought it was amazing, again it was the whole fighter aspect that I liked about it)
08. Lucie Jones - Sweet Child Of Mine (Totally underrated! I really love this version, but I've got a bad feeling she's gonna go!)
09. Leon Jackson - You Don't Know (Loved his version of this song<3 He wasn't great throughout the show, but I just adored this.
10. Leona Lewis - I Have Nothing (My inner diva bummed this)

Ive only really seen last year and this year, but ive watched all leonas aswell, so none from the 1 - 4 series.

Joe McElderry - Dance with my Father
ALexandra Burke - Listen
Rachel Adedeji - Proud Mary
Laura White - Endless Love
Laura White - You are not alone

1- Ruth- Purple Rain (the week people saw what some of us had seen for weeks)
2- Alexandra- Listen (without Beyonce- real turning point, until then she was just a clone)
3- JLS- Umbrella (loved it)
4- Brenda- RESPECT (easily most talented female ever on the show, but wouldn't be good artist)
5- Shayne- Cry Me A River (probably when X Factor started to get a grain of credibility)
6- Austin- Mack The Knife (can't believe he went so early, and I usually hate that song)
7- Niki- Total Eclipse (fave from that year, shocking looking back, but this was quite good)
8- Rhydian- Phantom of the Opera (hated him but this was dramatic, OTT, camp, just everything about X Factor)
9- Rachel- One (this year isn't up to much but that was best so far this series)
10- Ruth- Always (couldn't not have another Ruth one :joker:, most intense performance ever)

1 - Diana Vickers - With Or Without You [first time we saw she could work her quirkyness and actually make something special of it]
2 - Alisha Bennett - Dreams [She was so visibly upset, her voice was so beautiful, I loved it]
3 - JLS - Umbrella [I don't like them very much but enjoyed their rendition of this]
4 - Jamie Archer - Hurt [Again, not a huge fan but this performance was outstanding. Pity he's peaked with it]
5 - Diana Vickers - White Flag [How could I not have this? Most emotional performance ever, she knew her time was up and she was saying bye.]
6 - Same Difference - Breaking Free [I just loved this, it was a fantastic cover version]
7 - Alexandra Burke - Candyman [Not mad on her but this showed she had some real artist potential]
8 - Rhydian Roberts - Get The Party Started [It was so different for X Factor, so camp and dramatic, I adored it]
9 - Ruth Lorenzo - Knockin' On Heaven's Door [So epic, amazing vocal, just thought it was awesome]
10 - Ben Mills - Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For [just thought he was great really]

JLS - The Way You Make Me Feel was brilliant from what I remember of last year.

2. Diana Vickers - Call Me [just simply her best, loved it!]
3. Alexandra Burke - Listen [The emotion she put into it, just wow, goosebumps!]
4. Leona Lewis - I Will Always Love You [Such a fantastic voice and this showed it off]
5. Diana Vickers - White Flag [Beautiful. This was just a perfect goodbye but she deserved to be in the final]
6. Leona Lewis - All By Myself [No doubt about it, perfect song for her to pick in the final]
7. Alexandra Burke - Un-break My Heart [Just had to get into the final after this :D]
8. Maria Lawson - Piece of My Heart [Best performance in Series 2!]
9. Ruth Lorenzo - Always [My fav performance by her, just spine tingling]
10. Leona Lewis - I Have Nothing [1 word - Fantastic]

1. Leona Lewis - All by myself (Her best vocally in my opinion, it was probably perfect and she knew that it would either win her the show or wouldn't.)

3. Alexandra & Beyonce - Listen - it sealed the win for her and it was just special.
4. Hope - Back to Black - because it reminds me of the whole aaaaah-support-them-till-i-die era. stressful times.
5. Ruth - Purple Rain - incredible.
6. Rhydian - The Impossible Dream - brilliant song choice and he wuz robbed.
7. Rachel A - One - sealed her as my favourite this series.
8. The Unconventionals - Dancing In The Streets - made me pmsl. loved it.
9. Rachel H - And I Am Telling You - made me feel bad with the crazy-voting for Hope :p
10. Laura White - You Are Not Alone

Okay so bump off Leona's cos Rachel's bottom two performance is my favourite performance EVER by a contestant!

1 Rhydian - Phantom of the Opera, it was so theathrical, unusual and vocally superb

2 Leona - Summertime, the moment when she won the show

3 Rachel Hylton - Feeling Good, full of soul, passion and her voice was at it's best

4 Rhydian - You Raise Me Up, The best version of that song I've ever heard.

5 John and Edward - Oops I did it again, had me in stitches. The necklace interlude was genius

6 Leona - All by myself

7 Diana Vickers - Call Me

8 Brenda Edwards - Midnight train to Georgia

9 Alexandra Burke - Listen with Beyonce

10 Rachel Hylton - And I'm telling You (Singoff)

I know he wasn't a contestant but how good was Michael Buble's performance a couple of weeks ago? He really made the rest look like Karaoke singers. It was a wonderful example of how to make a song your own.

Unconventionals was epically bad. I loved it for all the wrong reasons, it was the ultimate car crash.

I loved that too, I would bump Ruth off but I can't :joker:, but wheelchair lady was very upset when she heard she didnt make your list :(
